I have shot a lot of concerts on the sx210 and it is all about your placement vs. the sound system. If you stand back from the front you can get amazing audio but the downer is you have to stand back and what fun is that.

@zshad: Yeah, I don't like being in the back much... This was the first time I actually recorded anything with this cam and since then I've learned that what you say is true. I have another video of The Black Keys on my channel that sounds great.

@cserrano86 So the only way to have better sound with the sx220hs, is to stand in the back? ( have recorded some Black Keys vids as well, but sound is not that good :( )

@ilsekris Well, not necessarily in the back, but just somewhere where the speakers aren't so loud... which is usually in the back. Lol. Outdoor concerts usually sound really good. These cameras have a really good zoom so if you're concerned about shooting an awesome video rather than having a good time, you'll be ok in the rear of the venue.

Was such a great concert. Saw them at the Wiltern on 4/12 also, saw some of your videos from then too.
