Love the discussion here about the "meal salad" and the white bread... These little exchanges about Dutch ways make this channel special. Ja, inderdaad. I feel the need for one of the periodic discussions of ... hair. Used to be that Noud was the winner. But now it's definitely Sjoerd. When he allows his tresses to float over his right eye, then flicks them back, he shows how captivating a long-haired boy can be. Meanwhile, Bianca is Mother of the Year. And blue does suit Edwin. Ja, inderdaad.
Bianca is so understanding she's a good mom! Anton he's so typical! Teenagers have sex and yes teen pregnancy sometimes happens. I like that Bianca is supporting Sjored and I am so glad he told his mom! Anton NEEDS to support his son he's going to become a teen dad. Yes teens having kids isn't the best thing in the world to happen but the truth is it does happen. I really like this storyline. Teens need to know the consequences of sex.
Edwin, being the cool brother, giving advice but also respecting his brother decisions.
Anton, well I can't exactly blame him for the way he reacted, nor would I expect him to congratulate Sjored, but hopefully he'll come to his senses soon and support his son. it's too soon to judge him and say that it's back to his old violent ways.
Bianca is just incredible. She might need a half-sec to process the life-changing news, but she's going to accept and deal with anything that happens to her boys. Her and Janine just know what's up when it comes to mothering.
I'm gonna give Anton till next ep to not go overboard with the anger. I can't really blame him for that cut initial reaction.
I wonder what the long-term solution is going to end up being as others find out, new opinions are formed, and decisions made.

@GTSTfanMark well, then I guess you can :), I just can't, I need my meat :), and I think three grown men who are also not vegetarians or vegans also need their meat :), and I have never heard of a dinner salad so I didn't know, and that might be nutritious and low on calories, but white bread sure isn't :)
@dipsyhappy White bread isn't very NUTRITIOUS, but that doesn't mean it's unhealthy. Considering the high vitamin, mineral, & fiber content of the rest of their meal, white bread is actually the best choice from a gastrointestinal perspective. The simple carbs & starches in white bread are easier to digest, which is something people often forget to factor in when planning their dinner. You should never go to sleep still digesting your food; it's bad for your heart.

@md1347 Well, he is only 17. I wouldn't fault him necessarily for not stepping up right away for not doing the "right" thing. What I would have liked for him to imagine what Rikki might be going through and to be there for her instead of looking at the whole issue like a problem that needed to be solved. Kind of like what Bianca did, not saying you should do this or that, just that she would have been there for him, that he didn't have to go through this alone.
@gpguy2 Sjoerd wanted to be there for Rikki. He wanted to go to the hospital with her for a sonogram. It's just that Sjoerd thinks Rik's plan is a bad idea. Rikki gets mad because of that, et cetera... Later, when he offered once again to go with her to the hospital she told him that Rik was already taking her... Sjoerd feels they're deciding everything without him and got angry.
@md1347 Well that's an ignorant statement Sjored is onlt 17 years old and he is obviously a very immature teenaged boy. Teen boys sometimes don't deal with teen pregnancy they tend to flee. Sjored is very scared he is going to become a dad and he has a child. How do you think the boy is going to react? He's just a kid himself! I am glad Sjored told his parents the truth that takes guts and courage!

@Capois7768 But they're not adopting the baby... they're going to pretend that Charlie, not Rikki, is pregnant. Sjoerd had the best solution in my opinion: let people they don't know adopt the baby. Rikki doesn't want to have this baby either. It would be very difficult for her once the baby is born (she didn't even want to look at the sonogram picture).

Bianca was more concerned about him carrying this secret around for 2 weeks and how he was feeling. So is her reaction, not normal? Anton needs to think before he speaks.
