Remember, Nick lived with a single mom with two jobs, had a brother he had to take care of, and he got in to fights at school. It might have been something of a fight or flight reaction and he decided to fight. He may have gone pro because he was good at it and got paid.

Ok he says "people say im a thug , im the crazy guy" ..this is a guy who started a fight at the hospital with the guy who beat him aka (joe riggs) which led him to be cut from the UFC to begin with, if he's got depression there's 10 million people out there with the same illness, it can be treated. @mrpsb7 There is A LOT of difference. Yes, you start something out as a hobby. You enjoy doing it. And you believe you can actually make a carrier out of doing it. Remember, Nick lived with a single mom with two jobs, had a brother he had to take care of, and he got in to fights at school. It might have been something of a fight or flight reaction and he decided to fight. He may have gone pro because he was good at it and got paid.

It's obvious he doesn't like attention because he asks interviewers to get camera's out of his face and he misses press conferences. Two, competition in that level is tough. He is training everyday to prepare for fights and that shit gets tiring. Trust me I know. And the fun is drained and it becomes work and not a hobby.
