well even if she did (which she didn't) Cyndi came out before Madonna in 1983 and I have an interview of Madonna admitting that she copied Cyndi Lauper's image in the 80's. I mean it was only obvious-- look at her early pictures she tried to cake on so many bracelets and earrings and wore a fishnet glove...come on Madonna, Cyndi was the ONLY PERSON doing that at that time.Madonna kinda had to copy her because she was so huge- so in the end Cyndi can copy Madonna whenever the hell she wants to.

That's funny.. being a fan of Madonna you should know better that Cyndi was here first While "girls just wanna have fun" was at #2 and "time after time" was at #1 on billboard , Madonna's singles for "Lucky Star" and Borderline" were barely cracking the top 20.
