Sweet build. I have a '76 in the garage beginning to take shape. It looks like many hours went into what it is today. Well done and I'll keep my channel posted for progress.
the stock muffler on that sounds wicked.....if you modify it!..unscrew the baffel on the back of the muffler...take out the baffel...you can see the circus the exhaust has to go through to escape....cut the piece of baffel pipe off near the rear plate to eliminate the circus...lol!....then put the plate back on!...it sounds really cool!...just an idea for the interested!
somebody call a doctor! that thing is SICK!..lol!nice job on that! i have one, a 75, my aunt was going to put it on the road w/a free sign on it! yikes! i just happend to show up with my 66 ford school BUS on the maiden voyage, so i loaded it in, title included! perfect shape...but wouldnt start!i did have to buy a carb kit, and a front caliper, some points, and gas!.lol! i got it runnin but havent had time to cafe it yet!lol!

sweet machine. Do you find the supertrapp loud? Just saying cause I had one on my KLX 250 dirt bike and could not stand how loud it was.

Sweet 400 man, very nice...my 76' is almost done and I'm hoping she'll sound just as sick. Yoshimira headers with supertrapp in the back.

Yours is the very first one I've seen with the Supertrapp flange adapter and disks mounted directly onto the header with no muffler between.
I had the same idea you had, and just recently got exactly the same setup to put on my SM's header. Great minds think alike! (haha) Take Care, Greg
