While their performance level has only been reached by a handful of 'moderns', each of their proteges & admirers have had their moments, and we need them as much, if not more, than we ever have.
You don't see many comments on the Marx Brothers because people who use computers and YouTube weren't born whenthey were in their prime. I suggest that anyone viewing this clip (or any of the Marx clips) make it a must to watch all of their movies. As with every comic (group) there are a few mediocre ones, but this is comedy as it should be. Hilarious!
I make skits that are chock-full of puns and one-liners, please take a look and let me know what you think! I'm a huge fan of The Marx Brothers and want to reach out to an audience who likes that sense of humor
This was my favorite part. "It's all right. That's in every contract. That's what they call a sanity clause." "You can't fool-a me. There ain't no sanity clause."
Every comic from 1930 on owes a huge debt to the marx bros. with or without the sanity clause. SNL, Monty Python, early tv comedians like Berle and Sid Cesar, up through Carol Burnett, to Jon Stewart now- it all started with these geniuses.
Great scene!

Groucho: "It's alright. That's in every contract. That... That's what they call a sanity clause."
Chico: (Laughs) You can't fool-a me. There ain't no Sanity Claus!"
That part is epic.

@slownoman
Jon Stewart is shit and doesn't deserve to be mentioned with any of those greats.
