Al Capone was from Brooklyn & his parents were from Naples, this Chicago mob crew is with the HSUS. Two of New York families are in with them also, and money still goes back to Naples, if I told you the real truth of what is involed here you would lock me up in a nut house.
There is Dog Rescue show on WABC radio in NYC and they just tell lies about propostion B and people should listen to this show. How could this be on the radio with the lies told about breeders. Breeders sould stop giving free dogs to these rescues so they can sell them, The rescue I once worked for broke my heart. So now I know the truth, the non-profits are making all the profits. Don't drink the cool aid people wake up the phony non-profits are con-profits.
People fail to realize that for several individuals, responsibly raising purbred dogs is the livelyhood for many and they love what they do. For some disabled individuals who cannot handle a 9 to 5 job--this is their life and their only source of income. It is actually more labor intensive than a 9-5 job--and many never take vacations for themselves--they are with their animals 24-7 day in and day out. It is a passion for them. Radicals so engulfed in the puppymill propoganda fail to see this.
People who are truly up to speed and see the REALITY of the situation will VOTE NO on PROP B! They realize that responsible breeders are the target here!
Thank you! If you are a BREEDER--be sure and contact your past Missouri puppy buyers, family and friends and let them know the truth. It's not too late! Knowledge is Power! United we Stand, Divided we fall!

"Instilling their views and philosophies on you?" In all societies, morality must be regulated- and make no mistake- we have a moral obligation to ensure humane standards of care for animals that we domesticated. Would you say that the government "instills their views and philosophies on you" when African Americans were allowed citizenship? When women were allowed to vote? When statutory rape laws were enacted? Sounds like you're in league with others of your kind- low moral character.
all this bill is going to do is try to enforce things that people should already be doing. clean food and water, enough space, ect. if your a good breeder you shouldnt have to worry. this world is a sick place and anybody saying vote no is making it that way.
..again with this fallacious 'big government interference in our lives' nonsense.
It's called Democracy; one of government's roles in a democracy is to enact laws voted into existence by representatives of the people or by the people themselves. Worse than 'big government interference' is 'private interest interference, especially when they are commercial breeders who object to what seem to be entirely reasonable measures proposed in Prop B. Freedom does not mean just doing what you want.
Keeping dogs loved, well cared for, safe and protected is a fantastic goal I believe we all want and agree on. Proposition B will NOT provide that. Again, it will weaken the current regulations. I will be voting NO on Prop B.
I will definitely be voting yes. However, honestly, I don't even understand why a proposition is necessary. I know this is America and the majority rule, but in this case when living beings are tortured and suffer, the Government should intervene and regulate regardless of a passed bill.
It's sickening that we have to vote on something to stop the suffering of a living being and this shit is allowed to exist in the first place.
@bleedblue83 We agree...I may not use the same adjectives...but we agree...We would encourage USDA to step up their enforcement...which they have been doing. This is a good point that you bring up...our intentions is not to allow the "bad guys" to continue...our concern is unintended consequences...I try to state that calmly in the video "Vote No Prop B Take a moment Part 2...
@bleedblue83 Before you vote yes, please take a moment to view the HSUS and PETA videos on My Channel: KnowledgeisPower2011
These are powerful videos that speak the truth. There is a way to stop and control "puppymills" ---but handing over our rights and freedoms to CORPORATE control is NOT the way. Making our State and USDA people accountable is the way.
I do not even support dog breeding on its own merit when there's thousands of dogs that fill up shelters who are already homes already. So with that said, I am giving a big YES to Prop 2. If I can't ban it, I'm going to make sure it's strictly regulated.
I don't understand the point in breeding. All dogs are created equal - whether you're a mutt, or a pure bred collie, they feel the same and suffer the same. You are putting a price tag on a dog because of its breed. It's sickening.
The problems is that the breeding facilities are NOT being inspected appropriatelyand animals are being treated inhumanly. Is this appropriate ? So if the "legal"breeders cannot care for the animals humanly and doing it only for revenue, the government needs to intervene. We have laws to protect others, why not animals ?
The Vet Association needs to speak to the rescue groups that gets the
cast offs from these facilities and the vets who have to care for them
"The ballot being proposed for this November would completely shut down our state’s properly operated, inspected and licensed facilities that have over fifty breeding dogs. We see this proposal as unfair and misguided. These properly and humanely operated facilities are providing families with pets under the guidance of extensive current regulations enforced by state government."
@JJJJview07 You don't have to sell me on Prop 2! I'm already voting Yes. I'm SO utterly happy that that your facility will be shut down.
You act like you're going a doing a good thing by "supplying families with pets" as if there is some kind of shortage of dogs. People can simply go to their local shelter if they want a pet. We don't need your help. Second, there's no way you can adequately supply over 50 dogs top notch vet care and TLC. I just won't believe it.
@bleedblue83 You have been misinformed. It is Proposition B, not Prop2. I don't have a "facility". Try not to keep making this personal. I don't want to see dogs suffer either. Plain and simple, Prop B is a badly written proposition. There is a better way than dividing the people of Missouri. You yourself state that you don't understand why Prop B is necessary. It's not. It weakens the current laws on the books. Proposition B is NOT the answer. I will be voting NO on Prop B.
Oh please! Anyone who knows even a little about the horrors of puppy mills will be voting yes on Prop B. Take your limitless greed and go work on Wall St. or something!
@MsMoFoxtrot The Ballot language is different than the actual proposed statue.
It is open ended. Prop B is bad for Missouri. Very Bad. "(9) ”Pet” means any domesticated animal normally maintained in or near the household of the owner thereof. "
Please find a career that doesn't involve exploiting the innocent. Maybe real estate or insurance sales. It's foolish and offensive that you profit from the voiceless who have no say. Learn a skill or a craft. Contribute to the world in a positive way!
VOTE YES! I'm sure you will vote no. You are either A.) A Puppy Mill Operator or B.) An employee of America's Pet Registry, who no doubt makes their money registering puppy mill dogs. Either way, you're just trying to protect your money. It's got nothing to do with "pets." No one keeps more than 50 intact females as pets. HSUS has no agenda to eliminate pets. If they did, surely someone would have come up with proof of that, not some baseless hysterical chicken little conspiracy theory.
@JJJJview07 Seriously, you people need to stop grossly editing and misquoting statements from nearly 20 years ago. RE: your first misquote, the actual quote is "We have no ethical obligation to preserve the different breeds of livestock produced through selective breeding. ... One generation and out. We have no problem with the extinction of domestic animals. They are creations of human selective breeding."
He was speaking of cows, not dogs and cats, and has since changed his opinion.
The actual quote comes from an interview in 1993 in the book “Bloodties: Nature, Culture and the Hunt” by Ted Kerasote. Wayne was asked by the author if he envisioned a world without pets. His response was:
“I wouldn't say that I envision that.” (continued)
If I had my personal view perhaps that might take hold. In fact, I don't want to see another cat or dog born. It's not something I strive for, though. If people were very responsible & didn't do manipulative breeding & cared for animals in all senses & accounted for their nutritional needs as well as their social & psychological needs, then I think it could be an appropriate thing. I'm not sure. I think it's one of those things that we'll decide later in society. I think we're still far from it.
The HSUS will continue to focus on protecting companion animals and wildlife, but we will make aggressive and unprecedented efforts to halt institutional forms of animal abuse, including the mistreatment of animals on industrial factory farms. In order to succeed, we need the participation of millions of Americans in our cause to root out suffering and abuse. I want to invite every American who cares about animals to join with us in pursuing our important mission.
@JJJJview07 Silly you.
