@greeneyeslinz The song really does sum it up. We do have those "precious memories" I do love the old gospel sound but still agree with some that the lyrics really aren't gospel.. A good funeral choice for sure.

Now, after just listening to Dolly Partons version, HER lyrics are for sure gospel. I just dont know if I think this version is really what I would consider gospel.

I know that many people say this is a gospel song, but Im just not getting gospel out of the lyrics... Yes, particularly the style of piano playing is gospel sounding, but I really dont think its a gospel song. Anyone else feel the same?

This is a beautiful arrangement of Tammy with The Masters Five.... They all have passed since then, What a legecy of Vocalist. Tammy Wynette, J D Sumner, Jake Hess, Hovie Lister (on piano), James Blackwood, and Rosie Rozzell.
