@mrsdia24 i was born with the same condition. i am 15 now and i got it done when i was about 7 or 8. i had to fly out to california 4 times and it took about a year and a half.

@newbrable not sure. we were very lucky b/c he was close to where i used to live and we phoned him up and went to his hotel room and basically it went from there. He's still alive yes, and still does perform these treatments! Most was covered by insurance, and i was too young to care/know how much the initial cost was.

I was given a private consultation and quote of 12k per ear but then I chose to leave it. Few years later I then underwent surgery paid for by the NHS
A septoplasty is elective and insurance covers it. My baby was born with Microtia/Atresia and is receiving great care as the hearing loss can cause speech and language delays, it isn't all cosmetic.
I think you would need to do research to find a doctor in the UK or contact Dr. Burt Brent and see if he may have any connections. However, you could fly to America to and meet with Dr. Burt Brent.

Meu filho vai ser operado em Salvador-BA, no Hospital Martagão Gesteira pelo SUS, dia 30 estarei levando ele para fazer uma Tomografia Computadorizada, para ver se um lado do maxilar dele é menor que o outro, espero que não.

Medicaid paid for my surgeries... so yes insurance will pay for it

Yes, it can be done in some hospitals up and down the country, I had mine in London paid for by the NHS

Os Estados Unidos não cobrem o Dr. Brent cirurgia, mas às vezes cobre a maioria do cirurgia por outro médicos. A boa sorte com seu filho!
