your both dumbasses, a 305 is not actually 305CI, thats just what GM calls it. It is actually only a 302. A 350 isnt a 350 either, its a 347. You'd be lucky to have a 302 ford, im a chevy guy, but a 305 chevy sucks compared to a 302 ford.

The 302 found in the 69 Camaros where large bore/short stroke engines, but if you do the math, they are identcal displacement. You dont know shit about engines!

Chevy's 302 had a 7000ish RPM rev limit. Ridiculously awesome for a V8. Only made so that they could meet certain Cubic Inch standards for Le Mans(I think it was Le Mans anyway.)Sweet sweet motor. And the 305 is actually a pretty good little motor despite what many people say.

guys, it is possible did you see the elco bounce the porr guy wasn't gonna push it as far as it could have simply b/c it was bouncing all over the place, it wasn't safe for him to go any faster, and posi doesnt effect it all that much, but the camaro had the advantage, for one it's lighter, and more aerodynamic, and has been modified, it also has a sport suspension whereas the elco has a passenger car setup

The Fifth gens like the one in the race there, are shit when it comes to gearing. The rear end that came in them are only 2.82:1 gear. That and no Posi. My friend's '69 is matched horsepower with mine, same transmission, yet he beats me every race. But the 2.82 gears are good for high speeds, I hit 150 every time on I95 with ease

Nah man, the Camaro has posi trac it doesn't spin when you hit the gas. The El Camino spins first and usually chirps second. I'm not sure what gears they have in the rear end.

The Camaro has duel exhaust with basic mufflers and the El Camino has straight pipes. Both of them belong to my one friend. We'll be putting them up against my 1968 LaMans very soon.
