Cadillacs arent really "grampas chariot: anymore... unless you buy like a DTS which is sort of aimed at the older people what with its fwd and no fancy touch screen and stuff lol my dad wants one.... but the CTS is aimed at a younger crowd and the STS is more midrange.

The is the 4.4L Supercharged N* V8 -- I purchased a Stealth Gray STS-V and installed this same system last October and have nothing but praise for it.. Its a 'louder than you think it is' system.. quiet until you get on it!

I have a 99 Eldorado. I also have a set of flowmasters setting in the garage. The flowmasters have the turned down exit pipe and are looking a little rusty in spots. Im still thinking about slapping them on. I know the dumps will give it a deeper sound, but usually dumps are directly behind the rear end and not all the way out the back. I might just hook them up.

And for those who don't know what the difference is int he Northstar, its DOHC, or dual overhead cams.

My family had had three cadillacs, a 1992 cadillac deville, a 1995 cadillac deville concourse with the northstar, and now a 1996 cadillac deville.. and we are soon gonna get a 2004 or 5 deville with the Northstar....

@5awhitt the only reason exhausts with higher flow pop like that, is because when you let off the gas pedal, the hot air from the engine stops going out the pipes, and the colder air from outside comes in. Causing the crackling. Just like thunder. You will notice it crackles a lot more when it's colder; like in the winter.
