@2trekkertrek Unless you're short on money you probably want to start out with a 2 channel R/C & then move up to more advanced ones. That way you can get used to the control & familiarize yourself with them, and also you may find yourself wanting to try an airplane or car or boat instead if you don't like helos, plus they're fairly cheap ($20 or less).
This is my second, my first was a 2 channel that I still love to fly but the 3.5 is also real nice.
That's pretty funny when the one cat stopped to look into the Camera.. Later on I saw whiskers brush the lens a few times. Ok, now tell us the truth, how many times did you mess up and trim a few cat hairs. I'm pretty good, but there is always the sudden unexpected accidents ;-)
@CentralNCSkywarn I've held my hand out on the blades a few times to make sure it wouldn't hurt the cats or the dogs, I'd never do anything that might hurt them.
i have one and i can only get it to go up maybe an inch above the floor. It was given to me so no Instructions and i have downloaded the manual but nothing.
No, but the dog lunged to walk around it and walked into the blades. Fortunately the blades are just plastic and don't hurt. But he's very wary of anything that flies now... Doggies PTSD.
loving the cats!

@CentralNCSkywarn That's the nice thing about these modern RC Helos - it's hard to hurt yourself or anything else with them.

@CentralNCSkywarn I'm very careful, I wouldn't do anything to hurt the cats, ever.

tlrulong - it sounds like maybe the battery might be weak or more likely the blades are bent.

I have one of those too. Have you trimmed any of your cats with the blades yet?
