i love this song, i got some tabs and tried to learn it on guitar, i learned some of it, but that first chorus( at minute 3:00 )with all the harmonics is crazy, one of the hardest riffs ive ever tried to play, check it out if your up for a challenge! Its kinda hard to hear how complex it is in this live version, listen to the studio version.

Ever heard of Marty Friedman? He was their lead guitar player for a long period of time. Google his name for shits and giggles.

Kerry King of Slayer played with Megadeth for a short time, and learned quite a bit of Mustaine's style. It changed Slayer's sound. That's 3 of the big 5 Thrash Metal bands. He had almost hired Dimebag Darrell as a lead guitar player also, who was later in a huge band called Pantera. You have done what lately?

broderick is just a monster, he can play anything, but he lacks a signature style. dime and marty have their own signature styles but marty is waaayyyyyy ahead musically. (cacophony anyone?) difficulty between those two depends on the person trying to play it. dont get me wrong, i love dime but i doubt he can improvise as well as marty. but you just cant compare them cause they all play different and theyre all very unique....oh and poland is fucking impossible to imitate...

again both are great, you cant really compare the two, both are unique with their own styles. give me a good reason how dime is better than friedman. marty has improv skills, writing, vibrato, melodic, unique licks, excellent phrasing, technique, etc. dime had great tone(i think it went overload with later pantera) dime does those annoying squeals a little too much, but has great vibrato, melodic, etc. you cant really say one is better than the other cause they both have different styles...

i'm completely opposite. to me, dime's stuff is SO MUCH easier than marty's stuff. like in the cowboys from hell solo and domination solo, the "insane" parts where you go up the strings, that feels more like just an exercise than anything else. but marty's stuff, like the solos in tornado of souls and lucretia, are a hell of a lot harder than they sound. i learned that the hard way a while back. i mean i pretty much got tornado of souls down and i'm working on lucretia. but to me dime's easier
