I have the series on dvd and tried all converters - it is my suspision that these aren't recaptured from the original tapes to be honest - it looks like some bloke just captured the vhs or betamax or something
some things just have next to NO colour in it.
I did sharpen it up and but only the first two seasons as i made a 2 hour custom movie out of the first seasons telling the major lines of the original story leading up to star one
Thanks. I have been using 3D Sci-fi Movie Maker to do all my cgi workings. But now I have started getting into Cinema 4d and have begun again on Blake's 7 series 2. It takes me 10 times longer to make the clips and where as before the rendering took only about five minutes to complete, in C4D it takes about 2 hours, but its worth it, as the liberater looks realy good with a profesional rendering touch. Then I will put it into after effects to touch up and add any effects
Hi, Just thought I would ask you if you have managed to get a good conversion from VOB to avi, as I have finished Redemption using Cinema 4D and realy want to enhance the character scenes. Have you done redemtion at all? If you could enance this episode I could realy use it in my project.
The trailer was epic, but Travis' line at 1:00 just seems like it didn't belong there. It would have looked much cooler with the scene cutting at "Destroy, Blake".
Great work. I am a lifelong fan of Blake's 7 and wish the Beeb would run repeats of it. It is nice to see someone put the effort that you have to touch up the space special effects, I wish the Beeb or whoever would release a remastered edition and update the space scenes and maybe actually add laser beams to the weapons rather than just a light.
I recently bought the Remastered Star Trek TOS box set with the special effects enhanced and it was awesome. Keep up the great work.
Hi Olmeslayer, you realise you are likely to become the victim of your own success and will end up doing all 50 plus episodes. What I'm waiting for is the new alien invasion fleet at the end of season two. Thanks again for giving us a new vision of an old favourite
This proves that the original B7 could and should be remastered by the BBC. The work on display here is truly impressive and has given a great series a new lease of life. Well done.
@olmecslayer this show had an underground following in the us before it was even shown there then they started showing it on uhf on saturday night after reruns of secret agent i dont know who stayed home to watch aurac a brain in a box that says stupid sarcastic things to people

very good, but cant you put lazers on the hand guns?

I'm guessing you need different software to do that. A 3-D program like this one probably can't do that.

Wow! The graphics on this are amazing! It would be great if you could remaster the entire run of Blake's 7 and make them available on torrents!

I think B7 Media should look at this and see what they can do with the Original Blake's 7.
