We do not accept every word spoken by jesus was his actual word used. The message the parable is intact. But it is all separate peoples fond memories of their Lord. The actual wording is not 100% accurate, but the meaning is, and that is found unaltered in apostolic tradition since the 1st century which was confirmed by the didache - a manuscript detailing 1st century catechesis (teaching of the faith) as being consistent.

I will state that the world today is more consistent with the Biblical account than with evolution, but both take faith. Moreover, it is black and white. The Bible can be true or false. You missed my point completely. I know that the different books of The Bible reflect the different writing styles of its different authors. What I was saying is that over time, the scribes who copied these manuscripts took great care to 100% accurately copy what was originally written.

The children are being born in an unsuitable area due to sex which is caused by the parents stupidity. It is the parents fault for having sex and having those kids that have to suffer. If you have a kid and can't provide for it, it's not God's fault, it's yours.
If you still practice it, then yes. They are currently known to practice satanism there. Haiti was prophecied to be decimated a decent timespan before the actual event anyway so that is enough evidence to suggest the cause.

As you know, God is all-knowing and therefore would see good out of something that would at first seem bad to us, because we obviously don't see the possibility of what may later come. The book of Job is actually very good in its message and therefore it has a purpose for us today, making it good, as is the Bible itself.
And it points out how God is always in control. Just read the "bet" He made.

I just don't understand this concept of a triune God that is only one singular God. If God is singular, then why not stay singular? Does God need the illusion of duality for some odd reason? Easy. When christians say "the word of god" it is short for the inspired word of God. Just like when we say "getting fit" is actually short for "getting fit for military service" - which is where the term came from.
In islam, it is the acutal dictated word of god. This is why they do not allow any translation of thr Q'uran. Conveniently it means that commonly no-one can critique what it teaches! If you were to pronounce the words exactly right, your voice would be the voice of God (serious!)

No its not. Look at my other response. In parts God does talk directly to man with the purpose of setting up his relatioship agreement in covenants. But ALL the bible is not the word of god but contains the inspired message (gospel = good news).
If you want to know about christianity, you have to ask knowledgable christians, not just make crap up as you go (as you have been doing) or talking to the kook fringe.

I do not recognise the God you are talking of.
We do not accept every word spoken by jesus was his actual word used. The message the parable is intact. But it is all separate peoples fond memories of their Lord. The actual wording is not 100% accurate, but the meaning is, and that is found unaltered in apostolic tradition since the 1st century which was confirmed by the didache - a manuscript detailing 1st century catechesis (teaching of the faith) as being consistent.

As Christians we are ordered to judge rightly not be morally neurtal on all things. We have an objective moral standard and we are required to be moral, or we are breaking Gods Law, and there will be consequences for this, irregardless of whether we recieve forgiveness of the sin.
Judging right from wrong is not the same as judging degree punishment.
I am only going on what the nasty fellow has written and spoken openly about. I am just glad he does not have political power.

As I said there is no other option for christians but to judge rightly in determining right or wrong, but not to judge people worth of being punished. That is spite, and is contrary to christian charity.
Our law courts are based on Judeo-christian morality. Guilt or innocence is determined not by the judge, but by a jury of our peers (note the word "jury" who are to judge righty). once the "everyman" has determined guilt or innocence, the judge passes down judgement against the guilty.

Yes, it is this simple. I never once said that The Bible does not require faith. I will state that the world today is more consistent with the Biblical account than with evolution, but both take faith. Moreover, it is black and white. The Bible can be true or false. It is not true for some people and false for others. I can choose not to believe that I have blue eyes, but I still do even if I do not believe that it is true. The same goes for The Bible.

The cohesive structure of the Bible cannot be copied between any two different people. A single group of 66 books written over a period of 1500 years that binds together to make the Bible is impossible without it being a single author. Due to the religious persecution of Christians in 0030 A.D. and up, the religion was already established before it was made official by the council at Narcia. If the original writings weren't available then how did Nero in 0064 A.D. persecute them as history says?

You missed my point completely. I know that the different books of The Bible reflect the different writing styles of its different authors. What I was saying is that over time, the scribes who copied these manuscripts took great care to 100% accurately copy what was originally written.

Know why I don't steal? Because my parents told me not to, also I objectively saw at that young age that I myself wouldn't like it if someone did that to me. Even in the ancient world, they had laws against murder. It didnt stop them doing it, because it was only a civil law, and when people have a motive, an oppertunity and the means, they will kill each other, because they dont have any particular thing to stop them.
Human history bears this out.
But thats not the way a christian looks at it. That civil law stems from a divine law, which if broken destroys our relationship with God. That is a far higher impetus to not transgress.

I never said people always obeyed the law, but I bet the people who murdered for their own merit knew it was wrong. They were just bad people. Now there can also be good people who learned it's not okay to murder without knowledge your Bible even exists.

Thats not the way humanity works. Bad people convince themselves that what they are doing is "justifiable" or "actually good, but people dont realise it" or "its my choice and I am hurting no-one else".
Christianity requires huge courage. it takes strength of will to acknowledge that your intellect and previous decisions have been wrong and to admit your mistake publicly and make amends where possible (pay the price) and steal yourself against further wrong action.

If humanity surely worked how you said it did, then we would have destroyed ourselves long ago during the cold war.
I respect those who follow Christianity, there are many brilliant scientists who followed that faith. However, in science I see the self correcting admittance of errors and mistakes more often. A scientist could be working on a theory for his entire life only to find it was proven false, and have the courage to accept it.
I have yet to see a Creationist admit they were wrong

2) Humanity survives because of gods influence. We are here for His purpose, not our own.
Science was created and nurtured by christianity, that is why theoloy is based on the same premise as other sciences. There are certain scientific principles that we know are not in error (ie gravity, electro-magnetism, general realtivity) These theories in theology are considered "infallable" everything else isnt.

They are all the right one, to a limited degree. They all have baptism of desire as their bedrock, they all have love of god above all, and love of the neighbour as themselves as their primary commandment. They all place their faith in God and all attempt to orient themselves towards what is good in life.
