i really love your consept being both a guitarplayer and a laptopmusician myself. I am thinking of buying max/msp. Is this hard work to get working? I mean how skilled to you have to be in max?

I love this video :D Best rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner I've seen so far. I've ALMOST got this working in Max/MSP. One thing I'm curious about is how you assigned different functions to different buttons. I still have no idea how to do that in Max. If I could, I could probably build one hell of a footswitch out of a cheap USB keyboard, like I did with a mouse :D
I'm actually building something similar, but i'm a bit of a novice at max msp, so its much more fundamental, but yeah its using granular synthesis too, can you maybe explain some of your paramaters a bit?
