@SuperPSTutorials Yes, I use a USBpro because I dont have any have any space inside PC. A USB to sata will work just fine.

Did it verify 100% with Aone media? I looked at the pic in the description, but don't know how it works, was it a perfect burn? Everyone recommends Verbatim.

@SuperPSTutorials It did verify & got pretty good PI & PFI results. I just posted this video to show that you can get good results from some cheap media disc's.

I also recommend Verbatim, I just use aone's to test games to see if they're worth a verbatim disc.. lol.

followed this video but didnt work for me using memorex dvddl

so i had to install another modded firmware to work with memorex but the problem is

when i burn at 4x opc on burn 100% but when verify disc error at 49%.

good news then tried at 2.4x opc off and burn 100% and verify 100% however i still have to test it on the xbox but i think it should work i used ihas524

I just received my burner from newegg yesterday. Same model used in this video. Flashed it with the burn max FW no problems. Im currently using Memorex DL disc. So with a little searching I came upon these settings that worked with very good rezults. Using the EEPROM utility go into the options tab and check Smart Burn, Force Hyper Tuning, and Online Hyper Tuning. Save. Then check Perform OPC Before Write in IMGBurn. Then set your write speed to 4x. Game booted up flawlessly

@LouieBlu you're right, these discs are junk. I can burn successfully at 2.4 or 4 but copying to hdd fails on the copy but not with the original. going to try verbs now.

Can someone please help me:( I ordered mine and I since I am doing it on my Alienware m17x laptop, I hear that I need a connectivity kit (Sata to USB) Does it have to be the x360USB? Or it can be any other USB peripheral that has the Sata to USB? my laptop has a Sata port on the side. I am a total noob about this so any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you a bunch guys!!!

PS. Is the molex cable and stuff inside the box or does that have to be purchased separately?

Now Check that disc you've just burnt with KPROBE2 and I bet your PI and PIF are through the roof and sending CIV to M$

Don't quote me on this mate but i've heard it's only Forza 4 and games made later on from then that have the outer layer implemented with the 3% CIV check. As far as i'm aware, GoW 3 is safe with the truncate method. However, i'm not ENTIRELY sure...

LOL, u didn't save your changes. You unchecked opc, but it started opc at the begining of your burn. I've completed arkham city all the way through with burning it with opc enabled. But C4eva says if your burn OS failing to turn it off.
