BJJ - Head/Arm choke from northsouth position

Im having trouble getting people to tap with this. I don't think I'm trapping the arm tight enough. Looks like he pushes the opponents arm in tight using his hips?

@Labradorslobber It could be a number of things. 1) Are you putting your head to the floor??That puts tremendous pressure on it. 2) do u still have the arm trapped? If you lose the arm the choke wont work.. There is a choke that u can get from there but its completely different. and much harder. 3) is his arm under yours if it is he can make just enough space to defend You want your arm around his neck with his arm above his head/your arm and squeeze into you so ure chokin with ure ribs and arm

my favorite head and arm triangle...I catch guys with this all the time. The other 2 ways to finish this is to "S" grip his hands to more securely lock it. The other way is to sit out in a reverse scarfhold position and really crank the the shoulder joint and neck. Great video

it wasnt exactly the same move - i think he did what could be called a reversed guillotine, the move here is on the principle of triangle.
