This looks like the Amax gyro out of Australia or RFD Dominator kit gyro from america but could be copy or just form follows function kind of thing.. These gyros can land without power softer than parachute and if you go to EAA convention you may witness some one do power off landing a dozen times in one afternoon just for fun and show off how small of a area they can land on. I flew in two seat version and did a "spot" landing they are a blast. China needs EAA type organization .

It also dpends on the rotor head structure.  A more sophisticated rotor head has automatic stability. The teetering rotor head needs the stabilizer. It's good to have one for windy ground handling anyway.

That's a gyrocopter, not a helicopter. Heli's have a tail rotor. Gyrocopters have no tail rotor but do have a pusher propeller. Whatever the case, the guy's a flippin' genious putting something together out of spare parts. Figuring out how much dihedral to build into the rotor is a feat in and of itself. Add in that he had to build those blades himself... WOW!

Good grief guys, the grammar on here is atrocious! Anyhow, this is an excellent example of a gyrocopter and the simplicity/robustness of the science behind them. Gyrocopters don't need an engine to spin the upper rotors because the forward momentum actually causes them to begin spinning. They actually create lift like a wing, as do normal helicopters once they achieve cruising speeds. I have some concerns that there is no horizontal stabilizer on his gyrocopter, but otherwise it's impressive.
