OK, third shape is 1 2/3 4, but with a fret in between each finger. its optional which finger you use, but it should look like 1-2/3-4 with - being a fret. First alternate pick then hammer on/pull off.

This is a great lesson , for spanish speakers or not. hes basically saying practice picking with ur 1 3 and 4th finger on each string really fast, then ur 1 2 and 4th finger on all strings as fast as u can, and alt pick every one.
