This is both the last grande and best mod ever developed for Freelancer. What your team accomplished so far can hardly be discribed with words. Thank you so much for all your dedication and effort. Take your time to finish up the edges though. Sure, some will be sad or even a little bit angry about the pushed back release, but seriously if this isn't worth it then what is?

I've been following this mod for a real long time and I have to say, I'm disappointed (more like depressed) that the release date got pushed back.

The whole "overshadowed" by ToR's release makes no sense to me, and a lot of others who were waiting. Not to mention that ToR is going to be complete ass and people will stop playing within a week.

Why not just release what you were going to release the 15th? Give everyone something to look forward to for the holidays.

@TheCynicalCynic Because as its been said on MDB, this puch back also gives us time to finish features that would have been pushed to post-release add-ons to be part of the main release. Also, we have also had many people say that they're glad for the push back, as they would have been playing TOR.

@Anubis714 I understand pushing it back would allow for some more features being added in, but the mod was going to be released on the 15 either way. That means that the features already in it were going to be enough to keep people happy, allowing a patch to just come out and fill in the blanks.

I don't understand why it can't just be released. It would definitely help with MotY and make people happy.

Also, people will quit TOR within the first week. Freeworlds>TOR

I have one query, if you could change the ships rename planets and systems get pretty much rid of the star wars icons, get the rights to use the freelancer engine. Why not release the gameor get it produced so it can be sold?

@herbies182 We're still using the Freelancer engine which is owned my microsoft. We'd also be using the Lucas Arts Intellectual material illegally. It's just bad news bears all around :)
