  • and the before song? whats name?

  • whaaat tht pool is awesome :D

  • cant be many places u can practice this. how deep is the pool?

i did my first 3m dive today. Only 15m more to go. Its the climb up those little ladders that would unnerve me more than the jump i think.

  • What the?

  • that's crazy

  • ok, that is one badass pool.

  • Now he won Redbull world series cliff diving ;))

  • this song blows!

  • what u all talkin in about this was a tribe double flip thing with a vanilla twist and a face plant witch is 1251254.12513654.462154385//692

  • lol who made the title?

its a double front half twist.

thus a 5141 not 5163. because that would be a triple front with 1.5 twists.

  • @skaterfugater there is more than one dive in this video... Gary Hunt made the title...

  • How deep is that water?

  • The person is splashing at the water at the bottom so that Gary can see exactly where the water is during the middle of the jump... it allows him to time his entry into the water better.

  • It's not all the same jump... unless you are stupid you can clearly see that some are forward and some are reverse... and with different amount of twists / rotation... are you all blind?

  • its 3min of one jump some fast some slow bullshit

  • Anyone else wondering why there is always someone splashing a bit for the jump. maybe used for a bearing catcher hmmm

  • only 18m???...

  • its the same jump over and over again with different angles.

  • @voldomaster1221 no shit!

  • Does a belly flop. View go up couple million in a month.

  • make some more

  • if feels awesome ...!!!

  • really was 18 metros?

  • è l'acqualandia di jesolo???

  • MAMA HUH MAMA MAMAAAAAAAAA

  • Pretty amazing man keep up the good work

  • i wanna do that lol

  • why is he diving off a pirate ship?

  • that is crazy awesome! oh my gosh!

  • where is that?

  • @frogsarecoolyo Or Isaac

  • congratulations mr. hunt!

  • Hope deep is the pool they drop into?

  • Gary Hunt is now 2010 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Champion after winning 4 out of 6 events and dominating the year. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

  • u got the number wrong its 5141b at the begining then it goes on to ur number

  • u got the number wrong its 5141b

  • this jank is sweet

  • @neema125 -.-

  • lol nt worlds highest isnt that the diving show at the aqualandia in italy?

  • what's the point with that, put some sharks in the water first

  • @ChainsmokingPothead you are so wacky!!

  • and your point is?

  • aw, youre ship is so cool! mine is horrible. and my captain is a dick...

  • i wish i had a pirat ship o__O

  • he is hawt in that Speedo ;-)~

  • u r gr8 dude

    keep going

  • arr

  • GEIL

  • @S4LYFE and @wogfun. In this case, they are breaking the surface of the water so the diver can actually see where the top of the water is. Looking straight down with a flat surface it is extremely difficult to judge.

Breaking the tension so it doesn't hurt does work, but you need a bubble machine to achieve this. Breaking the surface with your hand doesn't help

  • this is SO COOL!

  • why is the guy splashing at 2:32? is it to break the surface tension of the water so it doesn't hurt as much going in?

  • @jsbach333 its so he can see the surface of the water easier; when the water's completely flat and motionless it's reeeaaallllyyyyy hard to see

  • is that a new version of a plank on the ship

  • people who are questioning if this is diving or not because he's going feet first.. anything more than a jump is considered diving. yeah he's going feet first so it's not literal in that sense, but if you try doing something like this at a pool, you'll get kicked out.

  • Question: Are they splashing the surface of the water as each diver descends so that the diver can estimate when he will hit the water?

  • @wogfun nah, thats not it, they are breaking the surface tension so if the diver lands badly (aka flat) it wont hurt as much (not sure if its high enough to kill?)

  • Wow this is Aqualandandia! In Jesolo, near Venice, Italy

    Very nice show !

  • dude u most be smokeing crack u think i would jump off that nope u got me fuced up

  • its not really diving if you land on your feet right?

  • @TheZohaun Pencil diving?

  • @holycrapitstowlie i mean dont get me wrong the flips were impressive but he didnt really dive... when you're at the pool and the sign says no diving, they dont give a shit if you jump in feet first as a pencil or flailing around but the second you go head first they consider that diving.

  • @TheZohaun Diving is when you do anything more than a half somersault. 1/2 somersault is a 'dive', no somersault is a 'jump'. if you do 4 somersaults you go in feet first, but that's not a jump!!. Most pools would not let you do a single somersault and go in feet first, same as they wouldn't let you 'dive'

Most diving competitions have head first as it is a better thing to see, but you can do feet first entries as long as you do more than 1/2 somersault.

  • @diverjohn46 thanks that makes more sense. I wasnt trying to discredit his skills or anything because I dont think I could do that unless I practiced for little while

  • where is this? can it be that it is in Germany in Rust in the "Europapark"?

  • THIS MUSIC IS 'UPLIFTING' MY STOMACHE!

  • fuck thats not normal

  • do a belly flop!

  • Pretty perfect landings!

  • that would hurt if u belly flopped

  • @pXnDoePeL really? i didnt know

  • Wow how deep is the pool

  • it looks like one of those ships that stays stationary but has a pool hole in it like theres no bottom it just goes to the ocean floor

  • It would reallly suck if you missed and hit the floor..

  • How deep is the pool

  • my pirate ship is 101 meters so ha

  • WDF I WANT A POOL ON MY PIRATE SHIP U KNO WAT IMA CALL PIMP MY RIDE TELL THEM TO PIMP MY PIRATE SHIP AND THEN THEY WILL BE CALLED PIMP MY PIRATE SHIP

  • @123crayonz dude stop copying...

    fag...

  • I think this is as fucking sweet as high-diving gets.

  • The designer of the boat: Crazy enough we got a pool on a pirate ship, but lets make so small you might die if you jump from the board.

  • @henrikns

Its not for paranoid people like you also.

  • damn it would be funny if the pool collapse and all the water went out while he where in the air and then he would die when he got down lulz ....no just joking

  • Peter Pan Fail

  • Dang! that's awesome! looks like fun.

  • What a f***in maniac, he has got some balls

  • this was training years ago now is a professional redbull-sponsored high diver.

  • that guy has guts

  • Aqualandia, Lido Di Jesolo Italy.

    Its an awesome aquapark :)

  • i wonder... can a person survive falling from an airplane if they reach the water and go in like this, feet first? i mean how much difference is there in speed achieved while jumping from something this high and terminal velocity? if i remember correct, the fastest speed anything can fall at is 114 mph which is terminal velocity. (sorry if im wrong)

  • .....depends how high the airplane is....18m isn't that high....airplanes usually fly at quite higher altitudes (miles high). the speed gained at 18m is no where close to terminal velocity (in water atleast).....lol it would hurt if you belly flopped from that height tho

  • @jarjar952 yeah that would suck.

  • @jarjar952 Good point, the red bull series is from 27 metres (about 90 feet!) and the velocity is about 57mph when you hit - though if you are spinning to that goes up due to momentum from rotation!! You really really dont want to get it wrong from up there! 10m is bad enough!

  • @LogWiz Terminal velocity depends on the surface area of the object. For humans its usually around 120 or 135 mph. If you fall from an airplane you would lose consciousness (due to lack of oxygen), so you wouldn't be able to survive. Plus, you would probably go so deep at terminal velocity, that you wouldn't be able to make it to the surface fast enough to breath, so you would drown. In other words, no you would not survive.

  • @MJSIV1234 no i dont mean like literally falling from an airliner. i mean jumping from a plane to parachute down. you know normal height not 30 thousand feet. thanks for answering.

  • ouch i would hate to miss... splat clean up on the poop deck . aw i dont like cleaning poop its not that then what is it looks at mess fine im on it

  • @neema125 wtf?

  • @neema125 wtf?

  • this is intense

  • Crazy

  • super !

  • that didnt look like you were learning to high dive...

  • crank

  • what are they gay pirates?,Booty bandits?

  • That would be a good saw trap.'' You must jump or die? Fuck jumping!!!''

  • @bunneybeast

thats the greatest thing ive ever heard ! :D

  • @bunneybeast and you must do a double front flip with 180 on the end for good mesure

  • @sk8forlifebitch I cant even do a flip otherwise i'd do a belly flop and look like a twat.

  • Omg he's good

  • a belly flop would be funny

  • where was this?????

  • how deep is da water?

  • he back?

  • omg this could kill people

  • Respect.

  • they have that ship in skara sommarland in sweden they higjumped in a show there

  • learning?

  • that looks intense the first jump! >.<

  • tool

  • type in world record high dive.Hes like 3-4 times as high as this. This is like a regular diving board compared to the world record

  • wow nice sprung^^

  • Oh shit! I would not be doing that. lol

  • wow nice pool!

  • i was just a bout to write OW imaging belliy flopping from this height but then some dick had already put it in the highest rated comments GRRR good vid anyways =]

  • thats not learning thats doing

  • @MrMaxiking888 No, that learning to high dive - he was already an accomplished highboard diver at the Olympic height of 10 metres. He's learning to take dives from 10m up higher. This itself is a low level lead up to the competitive level of 27 metres.......

  • i wan't a beer and a cookie :D

  • Nice form, try doing 3 1/2 open pike from that high, from what I can see you have the skills

  • SCARY (HANDSTAND)

  • wow nice diving . i wanna do that lol :)

  • i wanna do this

  • nice one man ure realy good (be care full XD)

  • I wish i had a 100m deep pool on my pirate ship

  • @5totheash

    wish I had a pirate ship :-D.

  • @5totheash I wish I had a pirateship in my 100m pool

  • @tony8999 That truly would be extraordinary

  • @5totheash make a hole in the boat, should help

  • How deep are pools like this?

  • The dude on the side is breaking water tension.

I dunno if it's sufficient, seems futile compared to the bubble machines in pools with towers.

  • I love the bit when he dives:L :D

  • do they need to show that over and over again

  • NICE AND CLEAN!

  • les doy50000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

  • Thats in Aqualandia right ?

  • @warriordog itst true it could screw up your belly

  • hummm garageband anyone

  • amazing... it must of took u longer 2 climb the latter than do the actual dive

  • music sucks !

    the last one was amazing

  • Must be a bitch of a time climbing up that ladder only to have to do it again in 3 seconds!!!

  • Really impressive!

  • its on a pirate ship o.O?

  • @kaasi10 because there is a pirate show:P i was there, and its pretty amazing

  • wtf is the guy on the edge of the pool doin?!?!

  • @petrucci15 he's trying to make some waves i guess, hitting the flat water, even if you are jumping right, is pretty painfull ;)

  • @BastiaanSpeksnijder No actually he's helping the diver distinguish where the water is. Cause it might be hard for him to see 18 meters high.

  • @UNWANTEDUSER1 hmm, but with the redbull diving they use a pump to create some movement in the water, and they did that for the reason i said (as far as i can remember...:p) anyways, the wind wont make him hear it, and with the speed he falls he wont see the difference between the normal water and the drops that guy creates.

  • nice!!

  • Amazing!! I love your pool!!

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO splash.

  • Why does the guy in the pool splash like that?

  • @DiaboloBros to break the surface tension of the water. so that wen the diver hits the water he wont be hiting such a hard surface, non-moving surface

  • @ClavoTV Makes sense, Thanks.

  • respect

  • ur info says "Me Learning to Highdive in Venice Summer '06. "

learning??....i think youve got the hang of it pretty well i wouldnt exactly call that learning lol thats brilliant!!

  • i cant believe you, this is awsome

    ur fearless

i would die only by standing at that hight

  • also die ersten 10 x wars ja noch cool aber nach dem 30x wirds einfach fad...

  • I wish i cou;d dive like that. looks scary from that hight

  • Looks like the career in the olympics didn't quite work out lol. Jk great diving. I must feel amazing to jump from that high. Better than any roller coaster. Besides planes falling is the closest we've been to flying.

  • Look how little the splash is
