You're info has gone a bit awry but it can be confusing. The 0.455 Webley Mks I - VI were produced up to the earlly 1920's. The 0.455 Webley MkIV being the boer war model. They then produced the 0.38 Webley revolvers the Mk IV being the one used by UK forces during & after WW2. You have to use the calibre prefix to differentiate them.
@MrAKmaster47 no necessarily. Single action means it has, or can be cocked, before you fire. If you noticed in the video as with some DA-only revolvers. Since there is not cocking mechanism, the hammer cannot be cocked back. That means you have to rely on the trigger to both cock and drop the hammer, thus, it is double action only.
After some research I will have to say you are correct. It was widely thought until recently that this service model was the gun used in the latter Indiana Jones movies- however it was the slightly larger and more rare Webley Green that was actually used. It most likely fired a .455 Mark II cartridge and had a slightly different grip.
@netlinkenterprises After even more research, the term "Webley Green" is a misnomer. Gladiator123 was correct in calling it the Webley Government. The "Green" came as an assuption for why the army model was called "WG", another way to tell, is the early "WG model (the one Indy uses) from later ones, is that there are several parts that use brass. the top sight post is made of brass, and cylinder hinge plate is brass as well. look closely in The Last Crusade and you will see the difference.
The cylinder is rolling over more than it should- I let the manufacturer know the problem- no word yet why it does this since it is obviously not supposed to.

hey man, no disrespect but if a revolver has an external hammer and fires double action, it also fires single action.....

hey friend, um I think the mark 4 only fired the 38 while the Mark 6 (as well as others) fired the 455.
I find it funny though they made the mark 4 AFTER the 6....I find that strange

Only double action.

@condog321 If you look at 1:01 you see he tries to cock back the hammer but it doesn't stay

Oh no! This bugs me so hard but it looks like the cylinder is rolling over like 2-3 times a shot.. Is it?
