Lorenzo set him up and Sonny and Carly were on the run and Sonny was shot and Carly brought him to France where Jason and Courtney got married.Jason and Courtney finally brought their children to France. They were gonna disappear but Sonny decided not to run and so he returned to Port Charles.

The most touching part is at the end when baby Morgan smiled at him , I love little unexpected scenes like that . and sonny should spend more time with Morgan and kristina.
