so what is Paul offering that's so radical - a return to gold - the world was on the gold standard in the 30s great depression - not really a great precedent. And shutting down America's military budget - well once again just because America reverts back to isolationist stance - it doesn't mean you're be in the land of milk and honey - paul is basically for the super rich - low taxes, free trade - no social protections - basically the 19th Century.

Voting for Ron Paul in the primaries holds the same weight as voting for him in a straw poll. If you really want to see him nominated as the GOP presidential candidate, you have to become a delagate! It is the very least you could do for him. After all, he has been fighting for your liberties for decades. I voted for Obama. Soon after he took office, it was obvious he was preparing to sell us down the river & across the pond like the DINO's & RINO's in office. If progressives see it that way too, they should register Republican long enough to get Ron Paul nominated & voted for. Do it early enough (over 90 days before primaries).
