Cathy Dennis and Dr Luke (the writers) probably sold the rights to Island Music (Sugababes label) with a license to distribute the song within European and Asia regions, then sold the rights to Amanda's label. A lot of writers actually do this. The performers just can't release the song in other regions or she obtained rights and just covered it. Plus this video is for US fans, not UK ones. Very little American's know who the Sugababes are.
