Yeah. Beefheart's version is one of the best covers ever (although at this point, Alex St. Clair was band leader, so he was responsible for the arrangement of the song). To be honest, the Captain'd have had more hits but much like Led Zeppelin, his albums were made to be heard as suites and not with any singles. And yet all his albums have at least one clear single. Especially, Too Much Time from Clear Spot, which would have been a hit if it had been promoted properly.
Long live Tubes and warmups... I remember these grand old models that would fill the room with rich analog sound. Used to take dimes and then 3 plays for a quarter. Nice post...

Love this tune! Also like Captain Beefheart's version (Youtube 9XcdG_sXZjA ), as close to a hit record as the Captain ever got.
