In the year 2000, in 5th grade, we had a drill. It was a masked man who had "broken" into the school. They never informed us that we were having a drill. They shouldnt have to think about it. but thanks to our stupid social habits these days they cant escape it. So they are getting involved sexually at a stupidly young age now. You are just making a false assumption based on social biases and indoctrinations. Show me a study that concludes that teaching sex ed to children causes an increase in sexual activity. From my interpretation he was trying to show how simply teaching it implants the idea of it. The children now have the knowledge of sex and suicide where as they might not have had it if they weren't taught it. Making it more likely for them to partake in one of the two. That's what I got from it anyway.

they had a lockdown drill at our daughter's highschool. Basically there was a n announcement and doors were locked in classrooms but it only lasted for 15 minutes. No trashcan toilets this time. Also they keep the front doors locked now and you have to ring buzzer to get in during school hours now.this is a rural school.

They had a masked man do the same thing, as they told us to turn the lights off and sit in the middle of the room....Even then we understood the poor logic in that, thinking we were sitting ducks. When it was over, we were told not to discuss the drill with our parents, which we all did.

@leevi1234 I always wonder about this. Good point. They'll have to die when they make it law. But then again, this is like their religion or their belief. Maybe their sick beliefs they truely believe in so wholeheartedly that they've accepted it.

This is so far beyond sick. As if real life doesn't create enough fear, now we must deal with a situation that may be contrived. While we are deciding whether it is false or not our natural instinct for survival and reaction is being taken away from us. There are heroes somewhere in all of us. We will not find courage until placed in a situation where courage is needed. In my opinion it is this part of our nature they are trying to kill.

Everybody knew that mock drill was happening before hand. Classes were canceled etc. and THERE WAS NO REAL FATALITIES OR INJURIES. It was all mock.

I must say I looked up this article (shooter terrorizes campus during mock drill), and it says that all the persons on the campus were notified beforehand. Everybody knew what was going on.
I don't know whether that's true or not, and honestly I don't see how any drill could be successful if everyone knows it's going to happen...but that's what the article said.
