The only other doctor in New York who trained with Dermik Labs in the original FDA trials was Dr. Kenneth Francis. I believe his practice is on the Upper East Side somewhere.
I saw the slide presentation you gave with Dr. Vleggaar at the symposium for Reflections on Aging concerning Sculptra.
You REALLY know the artistry of how to make a face youthful again. The "fullness and triangle of youth," "bone remodeling", facial light & shadow, etc.
We have some great TECHNICIANS here in NY when it comes to injecting Sculptra... like Dr. Frechette & Schulman. But only you truly articulate the ART of re-creating a youthful look.
The best thing about Sculptra is that it's NOT just a filler. It actually dissolves shortly after it's injected. HOWEVER... after it dissolves, it prompts the lower layers of the skin to produce their own collagen and fibroblasts, thus pumping up the skin. And it lasts much longer than the other "fillers."
I was just reading about Juvederm on the JuliB website. I'm naturally skeptical about these things, but honestly, this seems safe, easy, and worth the money. Another couple of years, I might give it a go.
You probably didn't go to one of the FEW Sculptra experts in the country.
There are only about 5 doctors in the U.S. who truly know how to inject Sculptra.
It's applied COMPLETELY differently than the other filler.
Only 5 doctors in the U.S. were involved with the original FDA trials... and were trained by Dermik Labs.
Rebecca Fitzgerald is one of them. Drs. Mest & Humble in Manhattan Beach are two others.
Dr. Frechette in New York is another.
DON'T GO TO JUST ANY DOCTOR.

Yes, Dr, Frechette will be sorely missed. He was a true pioneer in cosmetic dermatology.

Is there any alternative in NY now?
