What do you think the slide is doing on a carb? It has nothing to do with the fuel delivery. Iyt has to do with the Air Delivery... Blue printing anything on the slide did ABSLOUTLY NOTHING to help your performance it is just the AIR VALVE.. thats all . The Jet and the needle are allready perfect... from Mikuni... And what Special screws does Mikuni use... Phillips Head... yeah.. they're the only company to use them...You need to go back to school, and you'll see how stupid this video was.
" that was a small mistake we won't look at that to much ,that i fixed that and i don't really want to talk about it." haha , like watching the vids keep it up
maybe u could help me, i have a pw 80 dirtbike carb an no matter how i adjust the float gas pores out.when i push up the float by hand an blow in the gas line the air stops. is there any specs to set the float at.thanks
Your English is fine. My books tell me exactly what you pointed out, but I want to try it anyway because I am bored with a long winter ahead in America. That is good advice and I thank you for it. RH DSD
Well weather here in Latvia sucks too in winter time. Cant ride from like October till end of the March or beginning of April. So I think Ill do something to my scoot too...
as much as I know polishing intake parts is not a good idea. As the pores it he metal create little vortexes and helps fuel mixing with air and prevents big vortexes at places where the channels bend... You can smoothen the edges and align all channels better, but don't polish it to a mirror shine.
hm... dont want to insult you but i have a lot experiance with scoots, but the polishing of a carb is not use to anything else then wearing down the metal and scratching it and this leads to removing the optimal mixture of 14.7:1 to 15 or more. So its no use. Also polishing it wont do any good on puting the friction down because this metal has fine pores that dont alove the fluid and air to do friction on it and if polishing them you are adding friction to it.
@warezvz It could not hurt either and I have always wanted to give it a try, so it is winter and I am going to play with it. Good advice as usual. DSD

English isn't my first language, so if you didn't understand, let me know and I could try to do it better.
