  • who said that everything was made out of mud and lightning ? That's the problem with these asshole creationists, they don't know shit about anything and they don't want to know.

  • Technology comes from science, science comes from logic, logic comes from reason, reason comes from truth and the truth came from God, that is, Jesus The Christ.

  • @swordgz

"Technology comes from science, science comes from logic, logic comes from reason,"

    This is where you failed.

"reason comes from truth and the truth came from God, that is, Jesus The Christ."

No, reason comes from Logic, and Logic is derived from self-evident Logical Absolutes, which do not require a god to exist.

  • Excellent documentary. Why are Darwinists and evolutionists so afraid of debate? Why are professors dismissed for simply mentioning Intelligent Design in a research paper? We need to tear down this wall that a minority of scientists have built to take away freedom of discussion. If we want American science to excel, we need to allow teachers and professors to question evolution without the fear of losing their jobs.

  • 'Why are Darwinists and evolutionists so afraid of debate?' They're not, they just want to have debate with people who have real evidence and play by the rules of the scientific community, instead of bypassing peer-review, which is what got Sternberg and Meyer in trouble. 'Why are professors dismissed for simply mentioning Intelligent Design in a research paper?' They're not, look up the people who were featured in the film and you'll see what really happened to them.

  • see Walter J Veith testimony amazingdiscoveriesdotorg

  • ID supporters only face scrutiny because they make claims that contradict what observational science has shown humanity for decades...its not that they are believers, its that when God is brought into a theory without any preceding evidence to support his existence, it can only slow our progress in discovering who we truly are.

  • Good movie. :)

  • This is an awesome movie - my whole family loved it

  • You are motherfucking morons, all of you.

  • In the opening scene, Stein is speaking to an audience at Pepperdine University, leaving the impression that was a guest professor or something of the sort. In fact, all the "students" were extras that were hired and transported to the auditorium by the producers of the movie. This dishonesty is typical of this "documentary" film. It's also been a bust. The film has grossed under $8 million. By contrast, "Fahrenheit 9/11" grossed around $120 million.

  • Ken Miller, an opponent of the ID movement, speaks freely of his belief in God. He has not been expelled for his beliefs... Why? It's because scientists are not expelled for their religious beliefs. They only run into trouble when they claim to have empirical evidence for something that is beyond the scope of science.

  • NEWS FLASH! There are more theistic evolutionists, who accept darwinian mechanisms, than ID proponents among biologists. So much for the allegation that darwinian evolution is part of an atheistic dogma.

  • The truth will set us free !

  • Stein's words "Evolution does not explain gravity", "Science leads to killing people"...

  • One scientist in this clip defined Darwinism as a "doctrine"~ instead of a theory, sounds like a religion being taught in the schools with no questions allowed.

  • Yeah, you guys are a day late and dollar short, so to speak. Expelled is dead. They probably didn't even make their money back. The people behind the movie have been exposed as liars and Ben Stein has been shown to be a complete idiot. This movie is a fraud and is an example of the desperation and dishonesty of the cdesign proponentsists.

  • Expelled turned out to be the Battlefield Earth of Creationism. They paid people to see this movie and still showed a net loss. It went belly up weeks ago several million dollars short of turning a profit. Of course it was made for propaganda, not profit. Hopefully without the profit though, further installments of this bankrupt premise will not be forthcoming.

  • "Everything was created by a loving god" ...does that include flesh eating bacteria??? Does that include viruses that attack the brain of a human fetus? I'm sorry. This is the one issue on which we must disagree. If you knew as much about science as you know about economics, you would not for a second buy any of the definitions Ben Stein uses to describe evolution. He is oversimplifying evolution to a ridiculous degree. By the way, in general I'm a big fan of your videos. Keep up the good work.

  • Yeah, "loving God", my ass. Everything in nature seems to point to no designer or, at worst, an incompetent or malicious designer.

Is this really the best that an omnipotent supreme being can do? I'd like to have a word with this God. I want to ask him why nature seems to be dominated by the brutal suffering brought about by the predator-prey paradigm.

Why would anyone worship a sadistic God anyway? Out of fear of punishment? What a sorry way to have to live one's life.

  • Read the fall of man in Genesis. ANd before you blame Adam, look at how well you've fallen. Ignorance is your blood supply.

  • The next time a liberal says we shouldn't teach creationism, ask them why they don't complain when Islamic indoctrination is being promoted.

  • Can you clarify this? Who is promoting Islamic doctrination in any way such that it can be compared to the topic of teaching creationism in public schools? These are two completely different issues. I guarantee you that many of the people who are against creationism are against indoctrination into any religion and do complain about it.

  • Have you read about what goes on in some of these public schools? Kids in the Oakland Area are being forced to read the Koran. Muslims in San Diego are being allowed prayer rooms while Christians are punished for reading the Bible. Taxpayer-funded Islamic schools in New York and Minnesota. In Houston, middle school students were REQUIRED to attend an assembly sponsored by an Islamist group.

  • You are right on the money, StoogeWatcher. Every other doctrine is allowed and dare I say, illuminated by the oh-so-compassionate liberals. That is, till you get to GOD! (the new 4-letter word) and His Creation! That's exactly what God warns about in His Word (ie Bible) there will be scoffers and haters of truth, but if YOU know the Truth, the Truth will set YOU free. I'm free in Christ, I don't worry what man can do to me. My home is in heaven, I'm just a sojourner here. =0)

  • The next time you feel compelled to wrote such unsubstantiated rubbish take a deep breath calm down and try reading a book.

  • That stuff happened, moron. If you would watch a certain news network that isn't owned by the Democrats, you'd know.

  • moron? nope sonny, a MORON would assume as you do that no one lives outside the US. neither the republicans nor the democrats own any networks in my country and I believe you are mindlessly repeating lies.

grow up and watch you mouth.

  • Look up the people featured in the film and you'll see what actually happened to them and why. Its nothing like what the film makes out.

  • You're a bit late.

  • Evolution is Gods way of creating.
