  • It means vagina, by the way. haha

  • Wow thats a lot of estrogen in that room!

  • definable moment in a bath number 4, dan discovers the second challenge.

  • i must say dan radcliffe is absolutely scrumtralescent.

  • Put yer glasses on 'Arry.

  • I hate when people call him a bad actor when he's already PROVED himself as a great actor on Broadway.

  • i love his accent

  • What people have to understand is that this "studio" is not just about acting itself but the experiences an actor has gained, regardless of his age or list of award wins or nominations. Dan is in a unique position where he's experienced a lot at such a young age. He'll be able to provide a different perspective of the craft and the industry to the audience.

  • naa niemand deutsch hihi

  • 2:56 is that a young ray romano?

  • Comment removed

  • how old was he

  • @ahceda09 i think about 18 or 19

  • @Abr022575

    Because he's an actor?

  • why is he on here?

  • God he is beautiful and wonderful and funny and amazing... Dan whoever your girl is she is the luckiest girl in the world! ♥

  • he always seems so nervous...

*all the girls go like OMFGOMFGOMFG!!!!!!

  • My GOD, that was quite some applause he got when he walked on.

  • I don't think I've ever heard so many girls scream when he first came on stage. I bet you they would run to him if they could lol

  • He's got the most awesome sense of humor. I wish I had that.

  • 9:00 oh no wonder Mad Eye's broom had like basically a chair with foot rests on it!

9:11 Wooo!!! Go Alan! And Snape!

  • Randomest thing ever!!! I was watching Family Guy Videos like of the real ppl and then heres this playlist for this thingy and who should i see be the person on the first vid? DANIEL FUCKING RADCLIFFE AKA THE HARRY POTTER!!!

  • i cant believe hes already been on this show......thats amazing...they only get the very best so he must be better than iv been giving him credit for....go on dan!!!!!!

  • Have anyone Seen him in 'My Boy Jack'.

A Film about Rudyard Kipling's Son who was Killed in World War 1.

I Think that Dan, is a Very Underated Actor who has got Incredible Talent and always seems very Grounded.

  • @whispperson

    yeah! i saw it!!!

  • He is really much better here than in HP!!!

  • I adore his sense of humor, so adorable!

  • imagine hagrid telling dirty jokes to harry, ron and hermoine xD

  • Daniel is a very good actor, and if he wasn't I don't believe for one second the Harry Potters movies would have lived on for over 10 years. He's a great actor, he's gracious, considerate, articulate. and intriguing to watch. Love his work, Rupert was great in Cherry Bomb, and Driving lessons, and I'm assuming Emma Watson will be equally great as well.

Daniel was great in How to succeed in business, and Equas. Can't wait to see him in The Lady in Black.

  • came here via Inside the Actors' Studio interview with Robin Williams, and sadly any other interview seems so boring ;)

  • Ah, Harry. You need a shave, my friend.

  • @JacobRudduck NO, HE DOESN'T! ;)

  • He did Inside The Actors Studio on my Birthday december 1st. Dan has a great sense of humor he made me laugh through almost the whole show. He is a great actor,

  • Here because of Tumblr. Lol, I love this show, though.

  • @lovemademe haha same!

  • I really loved that interview.and I watched it at my abuelita's house once.and the way Daniel was licking his lips,it fucking turned me on.sorry for my bad mouth, but his stuttering was very adorable.and the way he explained his dyspraxia condition,I felt bad.but me?I'm naturally kluzy.and this is exactly why I love watching my boyfriend's interviews.because he's so humble and sweet.unlike R-Pattz,who runs his fingers through his gross messy hair all the time.

  • THIS IS A FANTASTIC INTERVIEW.

  • He is very young still and I happen to think he is a very good actor.

  • aww he so cute, he look so shy when he walk in x

  • People who say he is a bad actor can go suck it.. He is amazing, idk why the fuck people were expecting some high caliber Oscar nominated action when he was only 11.. lol he was great in the last couple HP movies and he will be great in his future.

  • @socloseno Yeah he was a loittle stiff at times in the first two, much better in 3, 4, 5, and awesome in the last two. man he was good in dh1 but dh2 he was incredible. his acting in the resurrection stone scene was amazing.

  • @socloseno Dan Radcliffe did HP movies? Seems below his standard

  • @boxsitter ??? He's.. the star..?

  • @socloseno

there are people who think he's a bad actor? I think he's great.

  • He was AMAZING in How to Succeed.. really really good. If you have the chance see it!

  • I never would have imagined him being so well spoken, Im impressed with the vocabulary of this dude.

  • 24 people graduated from Slytherin House. ;)

  • He was never bad in any of the films in my opinion. the first one wasnt superb but they were all so young. after the second he really came into his own. He has got true talent and I think he will remain long after Harry Potter finishes

  • @awesomerandy Agreed, he's gotten better and better as time has passed.

  • british guys are so hot

  • @hjastroi Cheers

  • He is tiny

  • they look like father and son! loool

  • he is sooooo funny!!!

  • is this video sped up? just a little? it seems really rushed.

  • James was well excited to meet Danny.

  • i love him. period.

  • Awesome :) He is a good actor and a lovely guy!

  • i fucking LOVE how he's jewish!

    woo!

  • @darsvedder his mothers side is nominally jewish..he said he has no religious persuasion and came from an areligious family.

  • he is really fucking CUTE

  • @joaoppdarocha Have you seen his work outside Potter? He is quite good, especially his theater work. You can see him now on Broadway, in the musical 'How to suceed in business without really trying", it's really fub. You'll be quite surprised. :)

  • @judithkt He is so good in that!

  • @judithkt that musical made me fall in love with dan all over again!!!

  • I watched this last night and it was amazing. Dan is so funny and lovely.

  • <3 Hater fuck off. He's amazing. Loads of promise, loads of decency and hunger, and talent. Love him.

  • This show is so awesome, I love the way he interviews and gets so much great info on all of these actors and actresses

  • oh danny boy, the death eaters are co-oming....

  • wtf? why does he breath so short and quick... it's very peculiar.

  • true gentelman with a great sense of humor and great talent

  • looks like british version of Justin Timberlake

  • He is gorgeous

  • @barbiedoll811 I'm sure he nailed it. But in the Hollywood scene, that's a different story.

  • Daniel Radcliff is not only a great actor but also he is a gentleman.wish him the best.

  • You know for many years to come he is going to be labeled as "Oh that Harry Potter kid". It's going to take an extremely large role with complex acting before anyone is going to look past it.

  • i disagree. Daniel Radcliffe is a GREAT actor. Harry Potter would NOT be Harry Potter without him.

  • Of the 3 kids, this one is the best actor. Then comes the other guy and last the girl, who isn't that good of an actress.

  • @Tepes1980 are you flipping kidding! rupert (ron) is the best of them and emma (hermione) is the next best and she is pretty good. He is the worst of them!

  • @saqua608 hear hear!!!

  • Robert Pattinson just got owned 1 time ..cuz Daniel has much more charisma....2 times cuz Daniel actually acted in something that many many people call their childhood.....3 times.....cuz Daniel has actual talent at acting and not just messd-up hair and a oily six-pack....ty!!

  • @6OUI7 Rpattz doesn't even have the 6 pack

  • Daniel Radcliffe is sooo fantastic. he's such a great actor and i see him really going somewhere with his abilities. I think he is very mature and isn't overwhelmed by fame which is refreshing. he is also very, very good looking. Love him (:

  • he looks hella nervous

  • I love how excited the host seemed at the beginning xD He's usually so stoic

  • I think he'd make an amazing comedic actor, his work on 'Extras' and more recently his 'Funny or Die' was hilarious. He has great timing and is very self deprecating.

  • My daughter has dyspraxia and apraxia of speech ad well. Challenging but she is managing life like Dan is. Just get on with it and enjoy! Thanks for the clips.

  • @SevMeBernis someone sounds a little bitter over a bit of dumb luck.

  • I don't know where you people are coming from about Dan not being a very good actor. He only just turned 21. Those of you under 20 - try to do what he's done. Acting isn't as easy as a lot of people think. Dan's done a fantastic job, and now that he's getting more roles beyond HP he's only going to get much, much better. And look at this interview: so kind and personable and humble. He seems like a fantastic young man.

  • @poundingonthedoor -- I agree with you and he is coming back to Broadway next year to show how his talents is expanding

  • @poundingonthedoor Sh*t. Just turned 21 is no excuse. People have one Oscars that were younger than him.

  • @MaryIsOKYea Granted but they were in nice dramatic roles too, not some 'fantasy, kid's movie' as they (the Academy people) seem to insist on viewing it. Dan's got a nice thriller coming out early next year so maybe that will help. Whatever you want to say about his talent, he's a very humble, personable guy and that's rare for someone his age and in his line of work.

  • @poundingonthedoor You can see he becomes more and more relaxed as you watch the harry potter films.

  • @poundingonthedoor Well said. If you know anything about acting, you can see that Dan is actually a wonderful actor, and from all I've read and seen of him, he seems to be a fucking hard worker. He has been given this incredibly different life that he's had to adapt to and deal with, and he seems to be doing it just fine - all while working his ass off. He did a wonderful job in Equus and I can't wait to see what other great work he's does in the future.

  • @poundingonthedoor Good point. We should never underestimate what an actor can do.

  • @poundingonthedoor He got lucky. end of story. Its easy to be 'personable and humble' when you're a millionaire who has had everything hes wanted and more since he was 13.

  • Ooh it's Harry Potter. lol Now let's be real here he might play terminator 4 or Die Hard 10 but he's always going to be known as Harry Potter for the rest of his life. I bet a lot of people didn't even know his real name. I love the HP movies but that's the price you pay for playing the main role in an 8 series best seller.

  • I won't dis him as an actor and I certainly would never demean him as a fellow human being, but I MUST ask why hundreds of potentially talented future performers attend these things. They have nothing to do with acting. They're just celebratory of well-known performers.

  • Im mildly dyspraxic too and this is one of the reasons why I love dan and hes like my role model cos of it :)

  • he's so tiny!

  • i really love his sense of humor...

  • this is the honesty i've wanted to see from this kid...

finally he isn't acting weird and uptight in interviews lol

  • @smwtrs11

    British humor is pretty funny

  • How old is he here? He's barely 21 now, isn't he? Nothing against him, he's got a lot of potential, but give him 20 or 30 years and then do this.

  • @maynardsgaylover he's 19

  • @maynardsgaylover

I think this is a great format for future directors, actors, etc to learn about young actor and how to get more out of their performance. Despite he is quite young, you can see he is very well adjusted, humble, and very funny

  • Im mildly dyspraxic too, doesnt really affect me in anyway. Daniel is awesome and funny :D.

  • I wanna have Dan's babies

  • Muwahaha, he's kinda cute... x'D

  • get the feeling james lipton isn't enjoying the interview

  • @lysjanvier I get the feeling that he's really enjoying it alot :) As he always does!

  • You guys . . . let's forget how old he is and how many parts he's played, ok? He's an actor - it is called Actor's Studio, isn't it? So WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL?

  • he's so cute!really a good actor!!loved it :D

  • The interviewer is a serious man lol

    *& Dan is H-O-T

    he's grown up a LOT

  • I always liked Dans acting, and thought he was an OK person However, these interviews made me love him! Such a funny, intelligent, well spoken and charming person! These clips are amazing, and really shows how great Dan really is!! Love him!!

    Thx for the clip!

  • he's too young for this show

  • haha daniel radcliffe is so funny. I loved when he was on Rove too (ROFL)

  • Oh wow. What a beautiful feeling when someone you love says your name <3

  • yeah edward cullen is just an ugly vampire hehe

  • no le podrian poner subtitulos en español :D esta genial el video pero en parte no le entiendo U_U

  • i have dyspraxia too. it doesnt affect me that much but it did affect my schoolwork for a while. in fact my teachers said to my mum at parents evening that i wouldnt make it to my GCSE's. well i showed them cos i passed my GCSE's with flying colours, i went on to do college and now im doing a nursing degree at university. If you have a learning disability, it is a challenge but don't give up. As long as you work hard and do your best then ul be ok x

  • Can someone tell me why he is on this show?

  • @Ceolteor because hes an actor??

  • I do agree that it seems a bit out of place for someone so young to be on this show.

But on the other hand, it does provide an opportunity for a immensely successfull child actor to talk about his experiences as something that happened to him recently. Rather than as vague memories of a time long gone.

  • I loved Dan on 'Extras'!

  • Nothing against this kid. I think he's a good actor but he is way too young for this show. What is he going to talk about HARRY POTTER to a butch of grown college students? He hasn't been around long enough to be on a show like this.

  • @elmando5 I agree to a certain point- however he is a young, successful actor talking to young, wanna-be successes. To me learning about ANY successful actors rise is interesting.

  • WTF is this child doing on this program? What next - a foetus belonging to Angelina Jolie?

  • ... and all the chicks giggling...

  • Little premature for him to be on this show. This whole show is usually bringing people through an actor/ etc's life/ career timeline. Dan doesn't really have much of one yet. In 20 years if he is still around, still doing his thing, i'd be curious to watch. But now? I just think its too early.

Not to mention there are many other people in the HP films that would be better suited/ more interesting for this format of show.

  • didn't know he was Jewish))

  • are you kidding me?

  • He's such a gentleman for his age! He admits to his faults, even making fun of himself, which stars 40 years his senior would never do! Bravo Dan!!! You're a wonderful guy!

  • Daniel Radcliffe can easily outshadow that stupid Edward Cullen.......... i noe he gets to open here but when do they get the chances??? they remain mysterious for us....... and weneva they try to open up....they get critisiced!! cmon they r humans!! they cnt possibly act sober all the tym....... so veneva they try an open up and get crazy... we should let them coz we guyz dunno how hard it is to continue in the race of fame.....!!

  • For myself, given that he's there as part of the masters' seminar, I'm sure the acting students could learn a great deal about what it means to be under that kind of pressure or public view about a role, and what an actor must do to avoid being typecast. But I agree, I'd love to see Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane, Maggie Smith, or the rest of the cast here as well. I guess it depends on who they invite, and who can make it!

  • This interview was a great one. It was done on day of his grandmother's funeral and his level of professionalism was mind-blowing. He deserves kudos for being one of the few of his generation to take acting, and not fame, seriously.

As for his acting, he's great at it, considering it isn't a natural-born talent for him. He's worked very hard to get to where he is and he's done a very good job. He was fantastic in Equus.

  • It is interesting that Dan was reunited with Maggie Smith in HP. Maggie Smith played David Copperfield's aunt about 2 to 3 yr prior to HP

  • you can call me a twat, but how can this guy be on the actors studio when Alan rickman is not???!??! i mean shit, im not against dan being on here, good on the boy! i just dont get how he and people like ricky gervais have guested and yet Alan rickman has not.

meh seems like the actors studio has become a joke

  • its probably because he didnt want to.

Some actors are actually against it for some reason.

  • @TheLydianRocks Perhaps Alan Rickman may have not accepted the invitation to Go to Pace in NY. Can't assume that he was not asked. And Dan was on Broadway when he did this show.

  • ..That's James Lipton.. He's infinitely more important to the film world than Daniel Radcliffe.

  • I really like Dan and all of the Harry Potter movies but I must agree that his acting is rather wooden. I thought he acted better in the 1st movie than the others. His words run together and are slightly slurred. It bothers me but I still like him ok.

  • I love actors studio. =)

  • then don't watch them sweetheart !

  • His acting isn't wooden, what the hell are you talking about?

Also, I guess you can never have enough Snapes...

  • I have not clue how this guys unflinchingly wooden acting has gained such approval. What a complete cock.

  • i think he's a good actor...but...isnt his career a bit limited in terms of actually knowing about the business

  • I asced my dad to record this for me when it was on TV because I wasnt home at the time it was shown, but he forgot to record it :( I was so angry and sad at him...

  • This guy needs to brush up on pronunciations/spellings a bit before doing these, it seems. "Rowling" is pronounced "rolling", and where the hell did "SnapeS" come from? o.O

Otherwise...I love looking back on the first Harry Potter film and seeing how little and cute the kids were =3

  • haha Snapes.

  • Indeed lol

  • i say potato you say potato you stupid yank

  • ooh how cute are u super

  • i"m just asking...not in an offensive way...what makes you think he can't act?

  • @cairo187

    agreed.

  • He is incredibly handsome and has such great potential, especially by tackling both stage and film

  • Yea, he's not the greatest actor...but he's young and he's got a TON of potential. We've really only seen him in Harry Potter, but once the movies are done I can see him doing more complex/serious roles.

He does have talent, you cannot deny that. He's a hell of a lot better than the Edward Cullen bloke, I'll tell you that...

  • @gobletoffire05 I agree whole-heartedly!

  • @gobletoffire05 I saw him in a movie where he played an orphan an that was really good

  • @AndreSiraSebastian December boys? yeh that was great!

  • Most want to be firemen etc because it connects to that deep feeling in all of us to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.

    Fireman: Save lives. Compassion.

Policeman: Get rid of the bad in the world. For the good of humanity.
