I'm not African, but I've seen this movie repeatedly and have never gotten tired of it. You don't have to be African to understand how powerful and amazing this movie is. I'm 24 now, so when I first saw it I was really young and even then I enjoyed it and understood how amazing it was.
its true when they say you dont know where you going if you dont know where you coming from, its been a while since i've seen this movie and i just love it more everytime i see it. Thank you Mbongeni Ngema and Cast, especially Leleti Khumalo...
I can't watch this movie and not want to curse whites waitse? Eishh, batho ba tota ga bana botho, ga bana dipelo. EVIL APARTHEID, I HOPE THOSE WHITES THAT PERPETUATED THIS EVIL ROT IN HELL!!
i love dis movie...i seen it in tonga and i never fought i'd c it agen koz i didnt know the title of the movie...I was looking for something else and i found dis "SARAFINA". Got new respect for africans now
Im of samoan heritage in the pacific ocean and many of us there and in the united states grew up watching this movie. this movie regardless of creed or nationality could feel the pain of these people hopefully one day i can visit the musuem
For anyone who visits Johannesburg, make sure to visit the apartheid museum. They have very dramatic and real footage of the uprising and police reaction........I shed tears
I just love this movie.... it reminds alot. it was my Dads favourite and i remember him watching it on sundays after church service... very classic.it also reminds us of southafrica
