I think people are overlooking the fact that the law states you must be in control of your auto at all times. Was alcohol a contributing factor? Possibly. Would an averaged sized person be held accountable for not being in control of their car & having had any amount of alcohol in their system? Probably. On a second offense? Almost definitely. The judge dismissed this case due to jury misconduct. Not because Matt is innocent. There's a difference.
One thing you have to remember is that most police officers have little to no-training in anything but pulling people over. Major cities give 18 year olds the license and authority to decide complex situations. They can barely dress themselves let alone shoot accurately! No-wonder there are so many people kids are killed.
um no if you look up police trainer they have to learn how to take people down and in fact my cusin had to learn both how to fight and fire a gun with mace in his eyes while he did this

This was his SECOND DWI. He went threw a diversion class with the 1st one. He told the arresting officer he had been drinking.
The Stupid jury let a drunk go free.
