Beautiful collection, but an out dated expression of Dior. Designing for a fashion house like Dior should involve bringing the fashion house into modernity, to create a modern expression of what Christian Dior once did. Why is this idea of women's dressing still relevant to the way women dress today? At least Lagerfeld does his job.

Bill Gaytten's this new collection is better than his last one. Its more like Dior style. Unfortunately its looking safe and boring and old fashion. Feels like back to the Dior in the 80's. Some of the pieces are beautifully tailored but for some reason, the proportion of most of the clothes doesn't look good. And this collection looks more like ready to wear than haute couture.

Lets me honest, this is a very nice collection. Alot of it looks like ready to wear, but extremely beautiful. Not like that Rainbow Bright Disaster, from Spring Couture, last year. Everything was quite wearable and nice to look at. He used a few shapes from his Spring RTW and refined alot of the designs. l still want Galliano, back, but cmon, if Galliano made this collection, it would be praised to the heavens. Lets not be so critical, and just appreciate a collection that finally looks great.

This collection is way better than last seasons Haute Couture. Kudos to Dior. However I sow a few pieces that were stunning. When John Galliano was designing every piece stunned even if I thought it was too much. I wish they would give him another chance.
