Don't erase darling, this is a real video....find me another like it! You are not parading, making videos (I imagine only) is like having a monologue, so you are not parading, you are revealing an trans experience. Come to Montreal, they are much more open to trans women, England was soooo terrible for me when I went to middle school in Hove (for a year). It put the HOR in horrible!
i am a straight man and cant imagine what you are going through. It takes courage to bare your soul and emotions to hundreds thousands of people.you have strength of conviction and courage .thank you for sharing a part of your life that is painful you made it work and i understand your journey more.even in a obviously shaken state you look great.dont lose your sense of humor and that vivacious personality.also know you have friends on your journey.take care.
I agree with sugarisland764: We all need to have a good cry once in a while! Which makes me very jealous of your video.. I consider myself a straight, sensitive, male, 50something, but have not had a good cry since before my grandmother died when I was 12 - something not right there, not sure what.. this video gives me hope.
Hang in there, really. You're going through a second puberty...that's all. Call on people if you need to. It will get better. Long distance internet hugs.
We all need to have a good cry once in a while! It's good for you, gets it all out! You are a very strong, beautiful, funny, happy woman, it is important you show all of you, the happy and the sad, the good and bad, to help others going through the same thing as you. You will be just fine. Good luck.
you are so lovely hun ive been on hrt for six month and i cry at anything ive have watched you from the start and you have inspired so many people. you had my heart from word go hunni. i phone my ex from time to time and sob on the phone to nothingness then look in the mirror to a complete shock as i normally look like alice cooper lol. i just want to say we love you and WELCOME TO ARE WORLD lol.xxxxxx take care babes, jenni.xxxxxx
Yes the things we go through in this journey. Its good to show that behind all the make up, a lot of us girl have to go through pain and suffering to get where we are today. There is nothing to be embarrassed about in this vid...its all reality. Love you hun xx
hey there hope you are feeling better and thx for the video it is amazing too see that you are confident enough too share this even for a little while just remember we are standing behind you and we do not mind if you need too lean us every now and then
I am a genetic female, and I am proud of your honesty. I'm so sorry that you were in a rough patch, but as a natal woman, I have to tell you how affirming it is to see that it is very real! Honestly, my husband doesn't get it when I cry and cry and can't identify why I'm so despondent. Thank you, Glenny for being willing to be brave enough to show your sisters what a roller coaster being a hormonal woman can be, and strong enough to let us see you when you don't seem absolutely perfect :)
out of all the videos i have seen i think this is the most educational one out there you are an amazing woman i love how you cry on the floor for a hour and yet still be so strong <3 i hope i become as pretty and wonderful as you ^-^ keep up the videos lovely and refreshing to watch, i cant WAIT to start HRT but i havent even had my first apointment to see them in edinburgh so a long wait for me <3 love you stay strong and keep your head up ^-^ <3
It's so nice to see a real honest video on yt. A lot of people feel the same way u do, ur helping them to feel like they're not alone in this. & we're all here to support you when u do feel like this. This coming from a girl with too many female hormones lol, u need to just cry it all out. U might not know y ur crying, but just let it happen. Put on a mud mask & a good movie, & just cry it all out. It's just ur body being like 'oh no i have to adjust, what is this?!!'. U r amazing ok xx
One of the most real videos i've seen about how it feels to be on HRT. Thanks for sharing. Been there. Sometimes I can keep it in check, sometimes it is overwhelming. Love Ya.
I love this video, because I CAN SEE YOU ARE SO HAPPY, TO FINALLY BE ON HORMONES. What can I say? I think you arte incredible!!! You dont have to worry about looking pretty, because I think you arfe beautiful!!!!
Hiya your face looks amazing a lot softer (although you were always very passable) lovie the blonde hair. When i get chattted up by guys in clubs its so awkwards espcial as ive yet to start hrt how do u manage to date men
@Closeyoureyesandjump Bless you honey thank you. I really struggle with dating. I'm on a couple of trans dating sites and really think they are bad news/ Its all about sex on them and I want so much more. But its tricky dating in the real world because I have grown up in the town I live in so everyone knows my situation and if they don't then they do twig after a while. I obviously tell someone who is very persistent, otherwise I'm scared they'll freak out and murder me lol xxx
if its any help it does settle after a while, I have been on hormones for 2 and a half yrs and its only been the last 6months that my emotions have started settling, hang in there it gets better, just let it flow, good luck, jamie-lee x x
Aw, sweetie! I'm only able to enjoy this video because I read the morning after comment & know that you are ok :) I have all this still to come so it is interesting to see the emotions & hormone levels fluctuating & see how it affects you. This has definitely been educational as I have learnt that I will need a waterproof mascara for the early months!!! Hang in there! It'll all be worth it :) xxx
Oh honey I hate to see you so sad:( n it is totally the hormones estrogen definitely makes you have more sensitive feelings. Ur beautiful n I'm aways up if u ever want to chat:) ur amazingly wonderful. I love your videos n I think ur a silly girl in a good way that is:) be blessed n smile it hurts my heart to see u crying:) even though I know its just ur body getting used to its new hormone:) I'm so gale ur happy n well:)
You're always an inspiration to me. I remember my first weekend-long cry-athon. It was entirely weird, but I loved it. I could finally emote. Btw, I love this video. I agree with the others that you shouldn't take it down.
@missglenny I was thinking more like Dark Knight :) but yes! I'm not at all convinced of the possibility you could make a bad video. You're that awesome.
It makes me sad to see you sad like that but this is only temporary. If your videos are not educational, I wouldn't subscribe to you. I don't think you should delete this video because it's educational. It shows the realities of taking hormone ! Take care Glenny :)
Oh snap. In my last message to you I forgot about the mood swings! Lol! I was crying over Disney movies and crap. One time I cried cause I thought people should be understanding and let the trix rabbit have a bowl of cereal. LMAO! In six weeks your nipples are gonna start iching and getting sore, then they're gonna start poking out almost everyday 24hrs a day it seems! God I have to wear two to three shirts so people don't see them poking out. Lol! Later girl.
Stick with it girl, it happens at the start, but you do get it back together. You look pretty amazing to all us folk out here and it can only get better :) x
Morning all, Just want to say that I'm OK. I really felt the need to just show the other side of it as opposed to just the tits and arse. I was sat there last night in that state and thought to myself, people warned me about this. But I had no idea I would ball my eyes out for absolutely no reason whatsoever lol I will try and leave the vid up but fucking hell I look awful lol xxx
Honest inciteful videos like this are the reason I subscribed. The emotional effects of HRT are as important as any physical changes in feeling comfortable in ones body. Thank you for sharing this with us :-)
please don't take this video down. your femininity shines through. so does your brilliant personality. what's an hour of grizzling. lets see the makeover too
You are an inspiration. I admire you so much! You have a beautiful spirit and energy. I thank you for sharing your life with everyone. You're videos DO educate darling. People learn two ways, we learn from the experiences we have and from the experiences of others. By sharing your experiences and life you are teaching us. Hang in there! *BIG HUGS*
You say you aren't an inspiration, but you are. You inspire people every time someone clicks on your video. And if at ANY time during your transition you feel the need to talk just shoot me a message, I'll gladly be a rock for you.
oh girl we can all relate. we love you. what i do is when something upsets me i just dont go there or try not to. ive been on them for about the same time as you and whats happened is amazing. softer skin, less hair on body and my tits hurt. i have cried. drinking will make it worse. my thoughts are with you and hope your feeling better soon and stay that way girl your beautiful. best wishes
Hi Glenny, we get to see how you face transition with such a great attitude, but what we love most about you is your sense of humour. Even when at your lowest (sobbing on the kitchen floor) you can still manage a smile, a laugh and crack a few funnies. That really encourages me. Keep smiling and hope you feel better soon.
oh sweetheart, you are finally changing into a woman, i have only being on hormones for two weeks and i cry everytime i see a wedding on tv or soething sad, is an unavoidable effect of estrogen, but you will reach a time when you will feel amazing and wont brakedown like that. I think that is just the estrogen pumping into your body and making you feel the way a teenage girl going through puberty feels, the way that we were meant to be. And please dont take down the video, it is amazing
@dayan10214 Thank you honey. I will try and leave it up lol I haven't felt sad at other times just late at night. Thankfully when no one can see me... until now lol xxx
Jesus Glenny, you're such a brave girl for posting this. Painful to watch but a lot more painful to make, I'm sure. Everyone who sees this will be rooting for you and caring for you. I certainly am. And good for you - the Glenny GSOH surfacing at the end - I hope you get lots of builders' wolf whistles! And remember to give a ladylike finger in return, of course. : ) Bless you sweetheart. x
You look gorgeous because it comes from the inside and you are wonderful. You help people just by letting them know they arent alone. All i want to do right now is give you a big hug or i could just wolf whistle at you.
you just helped me honey understand my sudden sadness that i go through some times, your special, sweet, funny, loving,i have gone to the obgyn and they don't believe me that its hormonal, thank you thank you thank you, many hugs
Oh Glenny... The great thing about you is your shinning gorgeous personality and I want you to never lose that. Transition is hard and some people's reactions to hormones re more drastic than others. I from time to time have bits of depression here and there and, yes, it does suck, but it's part of the process. I like this video because its real. I think you should keep it. I find many transgirls start their transition before understanding the realities of it. Chin up, stiff upper live girl. :)
@TransDIYer Thanks honey! I think its been building up since I started, and have just had a few days where I ball my eyes out. Thankfully its just before bed lol I haven't felt depressed in the daytimes at all, far from it. Maybe I'm just afraid of the dark lol xxx
