See this is the problem with people who have good voices. They forget that singing is not just about the voice but, more importantly, the story behind the song and thus fail to convey the message of the song. "She Cries" is basically a cautionary tale, it's a song about a harsh truth that you can't escape. Why are you singing it so happily? In addition, your accompaniment is jazzy. Why sing along to it in an RnB style?
I've been working on this song for a LONG time. I have learned to talk on pitch for much of the beginning. Tell a story, make it sound less choppy and more mushy for those on pitch talking parts. Beautiful soft voice. You definitely know how to smile while you sing. :)
Haha no, DShines22 had the sinus infection which I think is every singer's nightmare! Thank you so much! You did really well too! By the way, we should do a guy/guy duet sometime. Maybe some Sondheim? Whatcha think? :D
heh, I felt the same way with mine... except I couldn't redo it a million times b/c I am trying to get over a sinus infection, and I've only got like three A flats in me... lame, I know.
