Wow! Can you please tell me how you setup your amp and bass to sound like Geddy's? Everyone tells me it's impossible without a Rick bass, but obviously got it down. I'd like to have the tone because I'm getting Geddy Lee's signature Jazz Bass next month. Help me out please?
you can still get the geddy sound with out a rick/fender. use the rotosound strings (rs66ld), boost mids, play fingerstyle more agressively, and get the tech 21 sansamp bass driver DI

Geddy gets that sound with his Jazz bass too, but I cant help you on how he does it, maybe the strings?

Yea the strings he uses are Rotosounds...(RS66LD)
