I don't know why you're being ridiculed so much... I'm definitely more experienced, i was just prowlin around trying to find the plucking pattern. For beginners, this is absolutely perfect. all the more experienced people can either A: Fast forward to what they want to know or B: Go find a different tutorial.

hey this is great tutorial but if u kno how to play i will follow you into the dark by deathcab for cutie then u can use the same strumming pattern and it works just as well :D just pointing that out

@RhonnieRach he capos on three. In the original video sams guitar is a little over a quarter step sharp, so you'll have to tune up if you're playing along with it.

too much information. your lesson was as if it were for people who've never picked up a guitar who won't be able to do the picking etc. there's enough info on the internet that they can figure out how to do chord shapes. the info was good... but i think less is more

Its ok, a tutorial should teach everything... maybe this is meant to be somebodys firs song with the guitar.
