The reputation of Navajo language is that it's very difficult to learn? Is this actually true? If so, what exactly makes Navajo so difficult?

It's difficult if you're new to the language, if you were born learning it then it shouldn't be much of a problem. It's said to be one of the hardest next to Japanese. What makes it hard is the glottal stops and the other marks that write the language. Tha language is written differently from English. Hello to you too

Some of the reasons that the language is so difficult are: 1. It's a tonal language. The word "kai" has 15 different pronounciations, therefore, 15 different meanings. 2. Verbs can be said in many ways - English would have one. I.E. "It dropped" can be "naalts'id, naalheezh, naakaad, naamaaz, naakeez, naajool" depending on what kind of material the item is made out of or it's consistency. 3. Some words/phrases are only reserved for male or female speakers. Of course, there are MANY more factors
