  • Hi Siggi, Since past 1 year I am watching your lessons. I am just 2% or lesser in compare to you in guitar but let me tell you that you are doing a wonderful job for "Spreading the music". Thank you so much and keep spreading the music. My good wishes and prayers for you.

  • siggi - really like your guitar playing but some are not available anymore - any reason for this and also where can I find them - I especially liked the hollies - he's not heavy.... Steve

  • They're all on siggisongs1

  • Hi Siggi, I've enjoyed all your videos, but many are no longer posted.

Any reason for this ? Are they available elsewhere?

Thanks for you great instruction. Excellent !

  • Hallo Siggi! Wieder einmal wundervoll - so cool und extreem "bluesy" - hey, hey ... Danke, Danke, Danke!

  • Tks Siggi you help many of us who are not so talented and require extra help. Appreciate what you do.

  • that would be "Green River" by CCR, not Suzie Q

  • I was going to say that it was Suzie Q....but you're right, it's Green River !

  • real good

  • That didn't sound like Boom Boom Boom.

  • i will have an awsome chime

    thanx dude

  • You are awesome! Thanks for sharing!

  • youre a machine gun ! Awesome.

  • This is why I like your style Siggi, You always point out the important things in playing guitar, you bring the essence of making music out into the open, and it is all through the prism of likelifeness and warmth. I've seen other good teachers on Youtube, but you top them with your own thing, uncofering something that is hidden in the strings of guitar... Thanks for inspiration! This is not just some bla bla talk: I mean every word! Cheers, man!

  • hi there.

i was just wondering if you cou teach us how to play "hit the road jack" .

    thanks

  • In bad english we would say your the "dogs bollocks". Strangely enough you would think that this is not so good to liken you to a pari of dogs testicles. But in fact it means you are the greatest! I am a fan. Thanks for the lessons. It is not often you get some one that shares his art and know how. Thanks again.

  • He's fantastic isn't he. I learn something new everytime i watch.

  • does he have a pick?

  • very good brother very good

  • Vorsicht, Klugscheißeralarm!!!

Siggi, das war nicht SuzieQ, sondern Green River von CCR. Aber sonst kannst Du alles viel besser als ich!

  • Du bist der Klugscheißer!!!!!

  • hi siggi what key are you playing in..is it open E

  • Love it!!

Siggi do you have any suggestions on how to approach training yourself to play base notes with the thumb melodies over the top wtih the right hand?

. I'm thinking I need to hear the interval betwwen the base note and melody note and place them (the interval) into the rythum. Once I can sing over the top of all that I'll be a one man band lol. I'm probally thinking too much about it but if you have any simple exercises or insights I will be all ears .

Thanks again and best of luck.

  • Hi Siggi, out of sight, keep them blues coming,,,,,thanks, jim

  • Your lessons are awesome - keep them coming.

  • Hi Siggi

When I first started finger picking, I did not use finger picks, but I was encouraged to do so. At first they seemed so foreign very awkward. I did not like using them, but was still encouraged to use them. I was told they would become an extension of my fingers. I tried them again and sure enough after sticking it out and getting use to them they seem very natural to me.

    Wayne

  • Nice to hear that. Could you tell us about the advantages?

  • Hi Siggi

The main advantage is they keeps your fingers from blistering. But I have come to notice while playing this song that it sounds better without the finger picks. That could be why you do not use them?

    peace

    wayne

  • You´re right, Wayne. It´s mainly the sound.

  • You Rock!! I always feel so inspired to play after one of your lesson..Thank you

  • thanks Siggi ! keep the boogie going !!!

  • Great stuff! If you are bored or don't know what to teach I'm sure there is a lot of blues lovers out there! thanks so much and keep them a-comin'!

  • really really good :D
