  • @cinnamontic Actually I read in some books that sight hounds were really good for agility.. and I'm sure you cold make her focus! :) My little Papillion is a whimp (trust me, I don't coddle her or anything) and can't focus on ANYTHING. But with an agility course there, she flies.

  • I am not sure in general, but Cedar is very motivated to train. We started him out as a pup with little training sessions of 5 or 10 minutes and worked our way up. He is very treat motivated so that helps. Working on Cedar's focus was very important for agility. He now has real "training" and "competition" modes. Of the two, training a "competition" mode was harder and we worked for quite a while trying to establish that one.
