thanks for this,im 38 and i remember the tail end of old dublin when a sunday meant a quiet city and a walk in stephens green with an ice cream and the smell of the warm asphalt underfoot,the railings on the grass verges of the green providing a high wire walk and on the way back to the bus,seeing the pick n mix in the window of woolworths-closed of course!
no traffic lights ,,, i remember driving with parents one christmas down grafton st by time i was old enough to go alone , shock , it was pedestrian,,good vid ,,,
