@dellboy99 exactly. they want to "cut costs" by closing down government services and "create jobs" by privatizing everything. So soon you'll see Walter Reed replaced by some corporate run profit-sucking monstrosity (that will no doubt hold their hands out like republican banks and republican GM did for tax dollars anyway) and enjoy no oversight of any sort whatsoever and be beholden to no one. Well, I hear most military people vote republican tho, so I hope they enjoy it.

I was there, once long ago. I went for a walk down the corridors. By one door, I heard someone crying quietly. When I looked inside, what I guess was a ward, when my eyes focused, I saw a room fool of guys laying in bed with no arms or legs. I tripped over my own feet backing out swiftly.
