  • Thuis is proof,if proof be required, that the total effect is often much more than the sum of its parts.Jacques Gauthe and Janet Shaw are incomparable, unsurpassable.Thank you all SO much!

  • jacques Gauthe quelle perte immense pour le jazz !

  • Wow! what a sublime performance. The "Joe Smith" style cornet playing steals it.Utterly marvellous.Any more music from this concert???

  • This is truly phenomenal! An amazing peice of wonderful, sublime JAZZ.I make a deep and reverential bow int he direction of Mr.BertyBloggs-you have made one man extremely happy on a dull, riancast day in GB.Thank you indeed!

  • beautifull playing, Jacques Gauthe truly a master what a powerfull sound, never tire listening to his sound

  • Janet is always inspired when playing with another top class reed player. The duet on this is great

  • I agree! This is the kind of trad and N.O. jazz I like! Swings with a "wiggle" and solos are hot and sweet. Sorry to hear about Jacques. Glad someone filmed this.

  • Celle-la, elle me fait chialer, makarel!

  • Me two! exactly the type of hot swinging jazz that is such a joy to listen to, and so hard to pin down, what is it that makes it so enjoyasble?I trawl through all the differant bands to find more of the same. That baritone sax is just briliant!playing against the soprano. And that trombone coming in good & loud it all adds to the drive, you could sense that they all loved what they doing.lets have more of that!

  • This is a terrific band beautifully recorded. Thank you for posting.

  • This is what I want to hear!

Perfect and clear recording and playing.

You are one of the first bands on my video website. Janet you are my queen on saxes!
