Lets make one thing clear Im a die hard red wings fans. I watch every single game and follow them more than most of you. Its clear that he made contact with the goalie. Did he make enough contact to stop him from making the stop maybe not but thats for the ref to judge. Hockey is an extremely fast paced game I would love to see all you people saying bad call go and try and ref a hockey game. You would get calls wrong to. Hes following the rule book get over it.
@iamemocore Doesnt matter any contact with the goalie is no goal. If the goalie was in the crease and he made contact he probably would of gotten a penalty. If he was in the crease and didnt make contact its no goal.
@bishoppx Ok so thats why when the goalie goes in behind the net to play the puck the other team always knocks into him. Thats why in the winter classic when fluery went behind the net and ovi knocked him over then scored it was called no goal. Its not fair contact. Learn the rules.
@Pistonsfan1311 different situation... i'm talking about when you're standing in front of the net screening. If you're feet are out side of the crease, and the goalie makes contact with you outside of the crease, it's not goalie interference. learn the rules.
@bishoppx Fair contact means fair contact. And the goalie didnt make contact with homer homer made contact with the goalie. He made enough contact with the goalie for the ref to call incidental contact, Not goalie Interference. Goalie interference is when you make contact with the goalie inside the crease resulting in a penalty. Incidental contact is when you make enough contact with the goalie forcing him to not make the save. The ref though the goalie couldnt stop the puck. Thus the no goal.

1. I've seen MUCH worse than this get counted as a goal
2. Lehtonen is out of the crease, Homer is also outside the crease, minimum contact. It's a goal
3. Anyone else notice that this shit always happens against Dallas? WTF

I'm a Wings fan and this was a reputation call. The idiotic ref made the dumbest call of the month.

Homer didn't even touch Lehtonen, stupid ref I should take a slap shot to hit him in the face!
