its rock, theyre christian as i am and they are amazing, thats all that counts, its like if theyre christian that this music has to fall in a diff category.

sadly though, alot of "christian" bands out there sing about everything but God, and i think red is included in that. don't bother labling yourself a christian band if you rarley sing about Yeshua.

@YESHUAISMERCIFUL let me choose words carefully...the christian life is not all praising jesus and happiness, yes we live for God and we repent of sins and everything, but it's a lifestyle, and with that lifestyle there is struggles. and these bands, instead of having every song be about happiness and praise, they are real with us and write about the hard times. FROM a christian perspective.

Yea, especially since being a christian artist comes with a lot of negative stereotyping. And in my opinion, a lot of contemporary christian music is very redundant and insular...but these guys keep it fresh and can appeal to a wide range of audiences.
