actually this was the second loss for the pharoah cause remember season 1, he was battling kaiba for the right for pegasus's tornament, the reason why he lost this cause he used the seal that he used cause of the magic card the tough dude traded him and timius and the seal didn't mix.

and that cost yugi to lose his soul due to the pharoah's loss.

Feel so though with 13 550 atk ? Try using power bond on uforoid and gate guardian = uforoid warrior with 9800 atk. add a limiter removal and he's at 18 600 atk points... add scapegoat with united we stand = 18 600 + 4000 = 22 600

If we start adding mage power we get an atk over 25 000, so i'd say your maha vailo trick isn't so great huh? :p

No actually that's not Yugi's first lost. It's when Yugi was about to go into Pagusis's castle, but Kaiba forced Yugi to duel him. Then Kaiba made Yugi lose by pretending to fall when he was about to lose. So that's his second lose.

I also think the Gx version is horrible. The characters are hardly likable. Maybe it's just the dub version, but the characters are whiney and quite annoying. The plot is awful, oops I mean what plot? It's too stupid to follow and a waste of time. The characters are emotionless, it's nothing compared to the old Yugioh.

This is one my favourite episodes of Yugioh. I think above all, the old Yugioh shows what friendship is. This episode is powerful, and they let it show through each character, especially Yugi/Antem. Despite Atem's greed to play that evil card, Yugi sacrificed himself to save Atem. Atem learned his lesson through grief, and prospered to fight his way to find Yugi, and whom else to make it possible than his trustful mates. Together they were a team and made it possible to find his soul.

I think this would have been a good legit loss if this entire "lust for power" act was in Yami's character, but it's not. This season never happened in the manga and it contradicts Yami's promise to Yugi in Duelist Kingdom to never go against his wishes again (after the incident of almost killing Kaiba). Playing the Orichalcos card means putting your soul in danger, and Canon-Yami would never to that to Yugi. But it's not too bad for a filler season. (A bit better than the Noa arc, anyway.)

-When he lost to Pegasus it was time based and yugi could've won when he called in summon skull to attack(not legit to me)

-Yugi could've easily beat kaiba in duelist kingdom but spare his life(not a legit loss)

-When he loss to rebecca if you were watching yugi had the tools to win but he surrendered.
