Good stuff Neal, I like it so far. A good antidote to the anally-retentive precious shit you see on Gurdjieff where being objective, and *sounding* objective have been totally conflated. You seem to 'get it', or at least be onto it in a big way - I'm on the last chapters of the book, and it has worked on me. I've had the openings you describe here through drugs and otherwise. Struggled with the true friendship part, but it's workin ok now. Nice to see the retro-minded prejudices being called too
@ruzickaw Ah, at last an expert on Gurdjieff, so tell me (for the benefit of others, of course, not for me, lowly stupid unworthy dog that I must be in your highly evolved eyes), tell me, Your Majesty: breaking 'togoautoegocrat" down to its constituent syllables (very simple stuff, no numbers or code), tell me, what is the etymology & how does it pertain to the text?
I don't what this video is about. The only thing that i know from previous Knowledge is that Beelzebub is a really powerful demon close to Satan. Also that he is called lord of the flies and i think that astaroth and azazel are his grand children,
@KhanDaPathan This video is about an aspect of BEELZEBUB'S TALES TO HIS GRANDSON by G.I. Gurdjieff. If you have never heard of G then just look him up in Wikipedia. Then you'll have some notion of him.
As to the comment below from Ranjo517 it's always impossible to know where the person is coming from when they call a video "garbage" without daring to take a real position against it. Going to this guy's page I see he is a hater of Obama, believes the U.S. dollar is doomed, etc.

I'm still waiting to see if silentpurr responds to my reply. In the meantime I'll say that for the basic gist of G's teachings the Lucifer series has a video called BEELZEBUB FOR DUMMIES, which goes over the basics. I'm still not sure what silentpurr is getting at in criiticizing this vid here except that possibly she is skeptical that there is any hidden meaning to Beelzebub.
@silentpurr My impression is plain talk is not quite your thing, but I will be plain in an effort to coax you to be plain in turn: I know what G was trying to show, so what, may I ask, has it to do with your caution about not getting hung up on the "finger pointing the way"? I'm assuming you are alluding to an old Asian adage, but I don't see what you're getting at in terms of how that adage applies to the video unless you've simply misunderstood the video.
I have to laugh at AgentPlayer77's comment. He's never heard of G.I. Gurdjieff's Beelzebub's Tales to his Grandson, even though it was explained at the beginning of the video that it was a book and the vid opened with a quote.
People freak out about the Lucifer series and literally cannot hear the content of the videos because they cannot get past someone saying, "Hi, I'm Lucifer. Welcome to the show. Here today to talk about . . ."
I would like to point out to people who glance at this page that lol97 has a page dedicated to a notoriious Australian pedophile named Geoffrey Leonard. He wants Leonard to run for PM of Australia, which I assume is some tasteless and supremely insensitive joke on his part.
It's a unique experience being lectured at about the proper worldview from someone whose whole page about nothing but a child rapist that apparently he cannot stop thinking about.
@lol97d Well, you're judging an occult work by the surface text, so it's hard to take the criticism seriously. People looking for something who don't get Beelzebub do well to move on.
There's no discussion possible with a critic who's basically uninterested in the process the book demands.
It's just not your thing, & nothing I say is going to change that.
I just had an involved & confusing exchange with Roobius who finally regretted how he had put some things & removed all his remarks after making an apology for how poorly a lot of the communication went.
I'm going to keep my end up to show that I do sometimes keep my cool when I think the person's only real problem is that they are not exactly an ace communicator.
As far as my exchange with Roobius below goes, I think it would save time with viewers if they just came out for or against G right from the start rather than sort of circle the question. Beelzebub is a difficult book, & people give up on it all the time. I certainly did, but eventually I came into some energy with it, and the problems seem back there for me.
@Rooobius So let me back it up: you don't like G; you don't respect the book; you think the book is a waste of time; and that's that. The rest of what you say is just why you feel that way--& we'll just forget where you seem to be interpreting it & taking an interest in it because obviously communication is not your strong point.
@Rooobius I"m not following what you're getting at. You say Beelzebub has a function, but then you say that it is a black hole, that hidden meanings have no meaning, that G's basic intention itself does not even matter.
@Rooobius If by "first chapter" you mean "The Arousing of Thought" (which acts as the author's working preface), I would have to say it drops clues as to how to interpret the book, but I'm not sure I would say that this amounts to the "whole point of the book". Maybe you mean something else by this other than how I'm taking it, but the way I'm taking it I would have to scratch my head a little, step back & say, "I don't think so . . ."
As far as my exchange with Steelgila goes, I now no longer see the "buffer" in "kundabuffer" as a barrier blocking kundalini. I now have other thoughts on the question that I'll air in a video sometime.
It also occured to me, Mr. Fox(I expect that's more correct than Mr. Neal) that Gurdjieff did warn that , in Beelzebub atleast, his intention was to "To destroy, mercilessly, without any compromises whatsoever, in the mentation and feelings of the reader, the beliefs and views ,by centuries rooted in him, about everything existing in the world". And since many of his pupils were involved in Theosophical ideas smashing Kundalini would have dealt a death blow to a pet belief. Maybe G. is a bit too s
Yes mr. Neal I did finally spy it some where abouts. Have you read" In Search of the Miraculous" by G.'s top most pupil P. D. Ouspensky? Regarding your observations about the possible concealing of Kundalini in Kundabuffer on page 220, G. blatantly states that everybody has been mislead about Kundalini and that there is no such thing as a 'serpent power, fire etc. "In reality Kundalini is the power of imagination, the power of fantasy, which takes the place of a real function. "
@steelgila You have me there. I am no big student of his "top" pupil, not in the least; so I won't be held to what his 'top most pupil" has quoted him as having said. G spent a lot of time distancing himself from India and saying silly things like it's only about philosophy in India and that real process is only to be found where he traveled, that sort of thing.
Me, I listen critically. After awhile I've learned to be leery of taking anything he ever said at face value.
@steelgila Your question is appearing on the site, so I would suggest that the problem is probably at your end, maybe your browser or something, but I can see your comment and have made a reply to it.
@steelgila Well, that is Mr. G's playful & surreal metaphor off some old Babylonian mythology, yes. I would point out that "kunda" could be short for "kundalini" and "buffer" implies blockage. Most of G's mischief with words are not that easy to spot, but he made that one easy for those who speak English.
As for Jessbrown1's comments, I have to laugh. Assyria & Babylon were not one and the same nation in the Bible. That's just flat-out factually assinine. As for the rest of it I think it gets increasingly more incoherent the smugger he tries to sound. It's all bluff. Assyria & Babylon were apples & oranges. That he insists the contrary, that he insinuates that I am a liar and that it has somehow something to do with Catholicism gets even all the more lame.
first thing I have common cortesy for people I dont know. And youve done notthing to earn my respect. Wich you have failed to show me. I did not send an offence reply to you I was just correctting a mistake.
Well yes thats true but i was not being judgmental I just corrected a lie. and the two nations are one in the same. study just a little bit about a subject before you try to correct someone. I will send nomore replies . you dont need the attention. and he wasent his grandson what I said the first time was right. can the devil not take a little lesson in history?
In my reply to Jeembrown1 I mention that he is mistaken about the name "Lucifer" as a reference to Assyria. "Lucifer" was originally a reference in fact to Babylon. For him to say it is Assyria suggests to me that he has not even read the passage in Isaiah in any sort of context at all, if he has even read the passage.
Lucifer was the name of the right hand man to tke King of Assyria. so Im not even going to watch any more of you viedos because you cant even get that right so the rest must be even more bull that the Catholic church madeup.
@jessembrown1 Well, I'm not very concerned with what you watch or don't watch, but I'm perfectly aware of what you're getting at and discuss it in a webcam called "Lucifer's Name". I say that not for your benefit because you've shown me disrespect, but i say it for those for whom this issue of the name comes to mind.
@jessembrown1 Oh, and by the way, it was the king of Babylon, not Assyria. It always amuses me when judgmental people who think they know something make a goof like that.
It has been almost 20 years since I read Beelzebubs Tales. I am quite pleased to find someone on youtube who can properly convey Gurdjieffs deep and convoluted writing style in video format. Many people take this stuff far to siriusly, it is nice when it is handled tongue in cheek the way it was intended to be.
As far as 419Unknown's comment about Lucifer's name, it's true that the reference in the Bible is subject to theological debate, but since I do not believe in the existence of the devil and happen to like the name Lucifer and it's my videos I'll call the character whatever I feel like. I'm only making this remark because the issue keeps coming up for some reason from people who have no clue to Gurdjiefrf.
To those who enjoy TheDan4545 and his religious bellowing, G.I. Gurdjieff was not an atheist. He was his own sort of panentheist; as am I. I talk about panentheism in a response video to Venus Satanas that I made a while back..
Atheist want proof of God?,....God owe's us nothing!!!!....He does not have to prove to nonbeliever's He exists. Or when do you go to your boss at work and tell him what to do??? Be happy atheist's that if you repent and look for Him you will find Him.....and that He left a door open for you to enter heaven, BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH SOME OF YOU HATE GOD HE WILL LOVE YOU UNTIL THE END. (unfortunately after you are dead it's game over you will want to repent and it will be too late.)
@sarahfks Thanks for the thumbs up. The pictures are all licensed from lot's of different photo stock sites. None of my videos are anything but me speaking in an electronically altered voice. Some of it is based on channeling, which is discussed in one of the prophecies threads.
There is no physical Satan; Satan is the ego, and it affects every aspect of our lives on this plane of existence if we are weak enough not to recognize it for what it is. That's why Jesus, when tempted in the wilderness said, "Get behind me, Satan."
As far as Hans below and his opinion that my disclaimers at the end of the video are "pathetic", all I can say is that I am at a distance from G on some questions.
There's the gay & lesbian thing and the women thing.
To my mind to have not brought it up would have been pathetic.
i discovered the book "beelzebubs tales to his grandson" and the writings of gurdjieff and p.d. ouspensky when I was around 16 and was just in awe at the writing then. thanks for the video!
No cult. G wrote books & had some groups. He's gone now. Some groups are still around.
Anybody can look up Gurdjieff & see what he was about. The focus of Beelzebub is the radical/playful deonstruction of root assumptions in how humans perceive & experience reality.
The Lucifer series is about approaching all this from a Wiccan perspective.
Prophecy, religion, Qabala, eastern philosophy, current events, kidding around, etc.
Tomstered below says there is no such thing as Lucifer. I quite agree there is no such thing as a supernatural entity called Lucifer. My concept is looser and more open-ended.
But I have to laugh that this same Tomstered on his channel page claims to be the son of God and to be able to perform miracles.
His videos have over half a million views!
Who can argue with that?
What a rare thing to have the son of god comment on one of my videos!
Sadly to say, if their is a God (which i think there is) their is a devil. Theres a combination of good and evil on this world and if good and evil is on this world well then there has to be a good (God) and a evil (devil).
Oh, I alway's have seen lucifer as a universal constant that is the heavenly form of an ArcAngel.
2nd question - I don't know, I think Beelzebub is another term for the devil, [he has many names] The best I like is "vanity" because that's what everyone seems to do.
Baal was the big god of the Canaanites who were bitter enemies of the ancient Israelites. Baal had many aspects. To the Israelites the business of the flies was the most disgusting to their way of thinking.
The names of demons just gets back to a lot of sneering at the other guy's gods, that's all.
Critics of my vid get off topic a lot, so let me clarify:
As far as Beelzebub's Tales to his Grandson goes, the Lucifer series takes a Wiccan approach with a heavy reference to the occult meaning of the Hebrew alphabet, which informed readers would take to be largely the key to the book's word play and endless made-up terms.
Given the right space this can lead to levels that are worth the effort.
Beelzebub folds in neatly with eastern philosophy.
so i am beezelbub? a witkar? a free willed human to do as i see fit? my thoughts flow through me because i dont think i have the answers and am willing to listen to the multiverse. to think our primitively programed intellect can be all knowing after thousands of years of spriritual manipulation may be a little egotistical. please know that your intentions in the universe are noted and an appropriate contrast will materialize naturally as apportioned by a creator in this physical manifestaion
I am sorry, but from reading your comment and looking over your channel page I have to inform you that you are not Beelzebub. In Beelzebub's Tales to his Grandson you would come under a different heading.
For people who do not know what a "witkar" is, it is a tiny vehicle that Amsterdam tried to use in a public transportation system that never quite worked out.
What it has to do with the above comment is anybody's guess.
witkar or vitki many names refering to the ancient european that sought the cosmos through runic divination much like qabala and other ancient practices that all seem to stem from the same source. not a car in this instance. love peace
makes sense that a netherlander used witkar as a mode of transport as that is what runic divination is about. how wierd is it that so many practices seem to mirror each other from seemingly non-connected societies. It just might not be as wierd as i think, just maybe the ancients werent as segragated as we've been led to believe.....divide and conquer?
genetic manipulation or something happened...a massive raise in conscious ability or awareness...somethings point to even earlier times and a cyclical erasure of civilization...maybe im high but it seems we've all done this before
It's too involved to get into here. Prophecies of Lucifer 3 begins the subject, and then there's Prophecies 6 and its follow-ups together with Lucifer on Channeling. Prophecies 9 will touch on some more stuff related to 3 & 6.
I prefer to build slowly and keep with the nuances since I don't want to put off skeptics unnecessarily.
Healthy skepticism is a good reality check. Knee-jerk skepticism gets pretty boring, but the higher grades keep me grounded.
F>T.S.M.O.G.: Celluar synases leads to ultimate resistance materializing as consciousness that must inevitably return to its own source copulating with what set it in motion in the first place.
A cosmic way of saying all life ends in death.
Even if "S" could be taken for something else, same bottom line, but a nicer way of putting it.
Of course, hold a mirror up to it, read it backwards, & it's pretty much the big bang with portents to Detroit on a bad day.
Yeah it was a trip already knowin his name. It's not like he had a familiar face or anything. After our LOUD introduction, my palm was sweaty from observing him with the tongs clenched. So I got a snack size baggy and put a peice of foil in it bout the size of a zig zag rollin paper so he could FEEL & HEAR his reflection....since he could nt see at all. Hey... 2 out of three aint spose to be bad....But like I said Wish I could have shared.
Damn it!!! Dude, I SO wish I would hav had a camera the morning that I found Beelzebub on da porch here on the fourth corner. My OH my, what a crispy critter he was after his time on the sun. His eyes were burned out by the sun(if those little shits have eyes to begin with). But Beelzebub was WAS a custom bug...he had roach entennas, so he could hear Very well! I picked him up with barbecue tongs and told him LOUDLY what a pleasure it was to meet him now that hes not void and w/out form
Hi Neal! Nice (Jewish??) Hottie, w/the book, early on! Well, you know my tastes! I always have been a sucker for a pretty brunette! (Mother complex? Prolly!)
I usually go to someone's page to get an idea of what they're about, and here you've admitted you never heard of G, so I'll cut you some slack--but then cutting some YouTubers some slack generally amounts to giving them enough rope to hang themselves with.
First things first: "Stolen knowledge": Clarify what you mean by that. Stolen from whom by whom?--and where do you imagine you're connecting with what you deem the "original"?
it was originaly thought the world was flat.and the center of the universe." nothing as good as the original" lol.the model t was original its no match for even a geo metro lol. what u say is bull or ignorant .
Somewhere down this page there has been a kind of comical exchange between me and Jerpatlaclel. I think his objection to my interest in Gurdjieff, expressed alternately as a put down of G and then as a try at encouraging me away from him, hits me as reactive.
To make his criticism of G consistent G would not only have to be dim witted, but also so dim witted that he's arrogant enough to think he's real smart.
Ultimately, no matter how much you bust it down everything adds up to ONE and we are all intimately and intricately connected in this reality. We (being humanity) are just chasing our own tail trying to figure it out. The eastern mystics have known this for millenia, That's how I feel.
Well, give or take a few key nuances, I feel the same way about it, but the operating word here is "feel". Secular intellects are in their rights to shrug it off because, as things stand, there is no quantifiable basis.
As things stand, it's a pluralistic universe out there.
Its source cannot be got at with a materialist model.
Oddly enough, almost all of the founding fathers of quantum mechanics ascribed to eastern philosophies, largely Buddhism and Vedanta Hinduism. I suppose the scriptures of those eastern philosophies better complement their lab findings than those of the west. All of this brings me to my all-encompassing video recommendation: Joe Satriani-"Flying in a Blue Dream".
All well & good as far as calories go, but in terms of objective time calculation the distinction between 223 and 204 would be the difference twixt a dynamic universe and Newton's clockwork model--a functional enough model, Newton, but hardly the last word.
At its most fundamental level the entire universe is composed of nothing more than vibrations. Words are sound and sound is vibration. It's only logical that our words have the power to create and shape manifest reality.
The real question is, how does one harness the power of word and sound in order to propel himself into a higher, more prosperous reality in which he has absolute understanding and control of his powers? That is the quest, that is The Art.
For yogic practices and other related eastern forms of chanting as well as what Pythagoras played around with I would say that the theme of finding the lost chord is relevant--but in Qabala it is more about the values the letters represent in combination that are the meat of the matter here.
G did hold that there was such a thing as "sacred" music, though.
Me, I prefer classic rock & the alternative stuff.
How much research have you done in the field of quantum theory and quantum mechanics? I've exhausted many paths in my quest to get to the root of reality and quantum mechanics seems to be the most fundamental description of nature.
I think the most interesting material that I've read is RIchard Feynman's hypothesis while researching QED that the entire manifest universe could be made out of a single electron going backward and forward through time - the "One Electron Theory".
It makes logical sense because all electrons are the same and you can never know both the position and the momentum of an electron at the same time. Their mass is negligible making them very incorporeal. Could the whole world be but one electron?
The "Surely You're Joking" part of his autobiography's title should be kept in mind with Feynman. He is, in part, playing his own sort of Hume with his particular niche of thinkers.
My hunch is that the paradox of time travel will turn out to be that time must be anihilated before passage is possible, & what anihilates time anihilates all matter, even electrons.
Then again, there's stuff smaller than electrons . . .
There ARE many particles that are smaller than electrons but I believe that we created them with out own observation. SInce like you said earlier, reality is unquantifiable, the deeper you get into the mystery, the more fundamental particles and constituents you will end up finding. It goes on ad infinitum.
Particles do go on ad infinitum. When I did "Lucifer on LaVey" the drift was that LaVeyan materialism has no end of little cracks that I, for one, find very liberating.
My philosophy has no need of a matter-is-the-end-all for it to be complete.
I requires the open question that is the universe as it presently stands in current studies.
Thanks for not coming down on me too hard JamesNealFox but, trust me, he's not closing in on me. How could someone who has been dead for sixty years close in on anyone? Even while he was alive no one became enlightened through him, not even Ouspensky. There are so many living beacons pointing to the same truth, why not try a fresher teacher who speaks simply and doesn't underestimate your intelligence, Paul Lowe and Eckhart Tolle come to mind.
I think it's you underestimating my intelligence. The video itself acknowledges that there are simpler ways of going about certain things.
I don't have any problem with people pursuing those simpler ways.
On the one hand you say G is a stupid twat. On the other, you imply that he's underestimating people like me, which suggests manipultion and cleverness.
Finally you refuse to take what I said about "closing in" figuratively.
One can't help thinking Gurdjieff was a bit too convinced of his own cleverness. His deliberately awkward prose would justify the effort it takes to plow through them if he had something really profound to say but frankly he comes across as an inflated schmuck full of his own self importance or, as the esteemed Mulla Nasrudin would say, "a bit of a twat".
BTW check out The Magic Language of the Fourth Way by Pierre Bonnasse. He extensively expounds on Gurdjieff and his teachings/methods. It's a comparable read to Beelzebub's Tale to his Grandson.
Well, what can I say? My first impression of your comment was to casually deconstruct it, but this is YouTube and the likelihood that it was someone cool having fun was against the odds.
I'll check out Bonnasse.
Oh, to your question: The esotericism of your comment is that it points to itself as an empty set.
Calm down man, I'm a seeker as well and I view manifest reality as nothing more than my own reflection, therefore I would never be malicious in any of my intents. I feel that the ultimate nature of reality and this experiential plane is paradoxical in nature as all truths are; reality is exceedingly complex but at the same time very simplistic.
I truly feel that in the end the experiencer must see the joke hidden in the myriad tribulations. I like seeking out the humor in all of this mayhem.
I won't reply to the rhetorical question below: "Can you decipher the esotericism of my comment?"--but I will comment on it for people visiting this page and looking it over.
The comment appears sarcastic, but to say it is sarcastic runs the risk of getting another paradoxical question implying that sarcasm was not necessarily the intent, which would await yet another reply to undermine and so on.
The real question is do I care what the person's meaning is?
Very cool... we know well about G.I. Gurdjieff and Ouspensky. My RR studied and knew Dr. Robert S. DeRopp who was Student of both Ouspensky & Gurdjieff. Have You ever read DeRopp's books "The Master Game" or his last one, "Self-Completion: Keys to a Meaningful Life?" Wondered.
As far as the comment below from RosicrucianAlchemy, as controversial as an iconclast like Gurdjieff is always going to be with all sorts of folks, it's a new one on me that he's supposed to be the literal incarnation of Lucifer.
Only on YouTube!
& Qabala's "worthless"? Wow.
For the record, the Lucifer series sees Lucifer largely as a symbol.
yeah you're wandering off the path of reason here. gurdjieff was the literal incarnation of lucifer. kabbala is basically worthless except gematria (which works in english)
crowley was an evil idiot. lose the dark stuff don't be a douche.
Oh, I took your question to be rhetorical. I could not use the Lucifer voice on daily basis because it is a product of my messing with my audiio software, artificially created, and the inflections given a matter of role-playing.
Like I said, I sound like I do on the other video. That's my real voice.
Good stuff Neal, I like it so far. A good antidote to the anally-retentive precious shit you see on Gurdjieff where being objective, and *sounding* objective have been totally conflated. @Rooobius So let me back it up: you don't like G; you don't respect the book; you think the book is a waste of time; and that's that. The rest of what you say is just why you feel that way--& we'll just forget where you seem to be interpreting it & taking an interest in it because obviously communication is not your strong point.
The bottom line is Beelzebub is not your thing.
So good luck with whatever is your thing.
JamesNealFox 1 year ago
@Rooobius I"m not following what you're getting at. You say Beelzebub has a function, but then you say that it is a black hole, that hidden meanings have no meaning, that G's basic intention itself does not even matter.
JamesNealFox 1 year ago
@Rooobius If by "first chapter" you mean "The Arousing of Thought" (which acts as the author's working preface), I would have to say it drops clues as to how to interpret the book, but I'm not sure I would say that this amounts to the "whole point of the book". Maybe you mean something else by this other than how I'm taking it, but the way I'm taking it I would have to scratch my head a little, step back & say, "I don't think so . . ."
JamesNealFox 1 year ago
As far as my exchange with Steelgila goes, I now no longer see the "buffer" in "kundabuffer" as a barrier blocking kundalini. I now have other thoughts on the question that I'll air in a video sometime.
JamesNealFox 1 year ago
It also occured to me, Mr. Fox(I expect that's more correct than Mr. Neal) that Gurdjieff did warn that , in Beelzebub atleast, his intention was to "To destroy, mercilessly, without any compromises whatsoever, in the mentation and feelings of the reader, the beliefs and views ,by centuries rooted in him, about everything existing in the world". And since many of his pupils were involved in Theosophical ideas smashing Kundalini would have dealt a death blow to a pet belief. Maybe G. is a bit too s
steelgila 1 year ago
steelgila 1 year ago
@steelgila You have me there. I am no big student of his "top" pupil, not in the least; so I won't be held to what his 'top most pupil" has quoted him as having said. G spent a lot of time distancing himself from India and saying silly things like it's only about philosophy in India and that real process is only to be found where he traveled, that sort of thing.
Me, I listen critically. After awhile I've learned to be leery of taking anything he ever said at face value.
Peace.

Why am I unable to post a comment(question) on this site?
steelgila 1 year ago
@steelgila Your question is appearing on the site, so I would suggest that the problem is probably at your end, maybe your browser or something, but I can see your comment and have made a reply to it.
JamesNealFox 1 year ago
By 'things going wrong a long time ago' Mr. Neal, were you referring to the 'accidental' creation of the moon and the need for' Kundabuffer'?
steelgila 1 year ago

That he insists the contrary, that he insinuates that I am a liar and that it has somehow something to do with Catholicism gets even all the more lame.

jessembrown1 1 year ago
In my reply to Jeembrown1 I mention that he is mistaken about the name "Lucifer" as a reference to Assyria. "Lucifer" was originally a reference in fact to Babylon. For him to say it is Assyria suggests to me that he has not even read the passage in Isaiah in any sort of context at all, if he has even read the passage.
JamesNealFox 1 year ago
Lucifer was the name of the right hand man to tke King of Assyria. so Im not even going to watch any more of you viedos because you cant even get that right so the rest must be even more bull that the Catholic church madeup.
jessembrown1 1 year ago
@jessembrown1 Well, I'm not very concerned with what you watch or don't watch, but I'm perfectly aware of what you're getting at and discuss it in a webcam called "Lucifer's Name". I say that not for your benefit because you've shown me disrespect, but i say it for those for whom this issue of the name comes to mind.
JamesNealFox 1 year ago

I'm only making this remark because the issue keeps coming up for some reason from people who have no clue to Gurdjiefrf.

lucifer is not the devils name.retarded preachers came up with that because of a sentence in the bible.

To those who enjoy TheDan4545 and his religious bellowing, G.I. Gurdjieff was not an atheist. He was his own sort of panentheist; as am I. I talk about panentheism in a response video to Venus Satanas that I made a while back..
JamesNealFox 1 year ago
Atheist want proof of God?,....God owe's us nothing!!!!....He does not have to prove to nonbeliever's He exists. Or when do you go to your boss at work and tell him what to do??? Be happy atheist's that if you repent and look for Him you will find Him.....and that He left a door open for you to enter heaven, BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH SOME OF YOU HATE GOD HE WILL LOVE YOU UNTIL THE END. (unfortunately after you are dead it's game over you will want to repent and it will be too late.)

Sichyworm 2 years ago

I'm getting some flakey stuff from people who probably never heard of G.
G was not a Satanist; and neither am I.
Also someone wanted to take issue with the literal Hebrew meaning of the name "Beelzebub".
Well, it's not subject to debate. it means what it means:
I guess the exact phonetic rendering would be "Bey-el-zevoov":
"Fly Lord".
And "fly" means the insect.
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
Oh, I alway's have seen lucifer as a universal constant that is the heavenly form of an ArcAngel.
2nd question - I don't know, I think Beelzebub is another term for the devil, [he has many names] The best I like is "vanity" because that's what everyone seems to do.
anewunderstanding 2 years ago
"Beelzebub" is from the Hebrew "Baal Za Bub", which means, pretty much, "Lord of Flies".
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
That's intresting.
anewunderstanding 2 years ago

No real devil here, folks.

JamesNealFox 2 years ago
witkar or vitki many names refering to the ancient european that sought the cosmos through runic divination much like qabala and other ancient practices that all seem to stem from the same source. not a car in this instance. love peace

Time will tell if what is said on the videos wil prove out, that's all.
But I do have my reasons.
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
A couple of things: Yeah, the vid is getting at Qabala.
As for the appearance of a black woman's face it was simply an allusion to a verse from the Song of Songs, which appears in Hebrew in Lucifer's talk.
Some character thought I might be saying that blacks are aliens. I can't figure if he was an idiot or just being caustic.
Would he have asked that about whites if the face had been a white woman's?
Wouldn't have even occurred to him.

As for the comment below, I did ask Aenima for some clarity about what he meant, but he never got back to me, so I'll say this:
The only "stolen knowledge" hype I have heard tell of on the Web is the idea that the Jews "stole" their occult knowledge from the Egyptians.
This is one of a dozen ways that anti-Semites try to downplay Judaic influence on all things metaphysical.
There's nothing to it.
Besides, Aenima is going to go Egyptian?
From what source?
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
bah, jewish kabbalah is stolen knowledge... and as the old saying goes, nothing is as good as the original.

JamesNealFox 2 years ago

Somewhere down this page there has been a kind of comical exchange between me and Jerpatlaclel. I think his objection to my interest in Gurdjieff, expressed alternately as a put down of G and then as a try at encouraging me away from him, hits me as reactive.
To make his criticism of G consistent G would not only have to be dim witted, but also so dim witted that he's arrogant enough to think he's real smart.
A kind of mystic George Bush.
Very few critics believe G fits that profile.
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
Ultimately, no matter how much you bust it down everything adds up to ONE and we are all intimately and intricately connected in this reality. We (being humanity) are just chasing our own tail trying to figure it out. The eastern mystics have known this for millenia, That's how I feel.
MetaversalSouljah 2 years ago
Well, give or take a few key nuances, I feel the same way about it, but the operating word here is "feel". Secular intellects are in their rights to shrug it off because, as things stand, there is no quantifiable basis.
As things stand, it's a pluralistic universe out there.
Its source cannot be got at with a materialist model.
It will always elude a materialist model.
And that says something right there.
I'm very at home with the implications.
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
It sounds like he found Pythagoras' lost chord on that track while swimming through Vishnu's dream. Satriani is the sh*t.
MetaversalSouljah 2 years ago
Oddly enough, almost all of the founding fathers of quantum mechanics ascribed to eastern philosophies, largely Buddhism and Vedanta Hinduism. I suppose the scriptures of those eastern philosophies better complement their lab findings than those of the west. All of this brings me to my all-encompassing video recommendation: Joe Satriani-"Flying in a Blue Dream".
MetaversalSouljah 2 years ago
Satch, yeah. That's more what I'm talking about.

The significance of 223:
223 is what I weighed before I went on this cardio regimen, now I'm down to 204. :o)
MetaversalSouljah 2 years ago
All well & good as far as calories go, but in terms of objective time calculation the distinction between 223 and 204 would be the difference twixt a dynamic universe and Newton's clockwork model--a functional enough model, Newton, but hardly the last word.
Worse, the loss of pound numbering negative 19?
And setting the total in ratio to "o"?
Newton all the way down the line.
But maybe this last was a typo.
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
At its most fundamental level the entire universe is composed of nothing more than vibrations. Words are sound and sound is vibration. It's only logical that our words have the power to create and shape manifest reality.
The real question is, how does one harness the power of word and sound in order to propel himself into a higher, more prosperous reality in which he has absolute understanding and control of his powers? That is the quest, that is The Art.
MetaversalSouljah 2 years ago
For yogic practices and other related eastern forms of chanting as well as what Pythagoras played around with I would say that the theme of finding the lost chord is relevant--but in Qabala it is more about the values the letters represent in combination that are the meat of the matter here.
G did hold that there was such a thing as "sacred" music, though.
Me, I prefer classic rock & the alternative stuff.
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
How much research have you done in the field of quantum theory and quantum mechanics? I've exhausted many paths in my quest to get to the root of reality and quantum mechanics seems to be the most fundamental description of nature.
MetaversalSouljah 2 years ago
Quantum is fine for me, if a person appreciates that there's no point where the four forces of the material universe have one unifying explanation.
There's a wonderful jumble trying to reconcile everything into a Grand Unification Theory, the big final explanation for All That Is.
There have been strides and interesting guesses, but no quanifiable answer.
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
I think the most interesting material that I've read is RIchard Feynman's hypothesis while researching QED that the entire manifest universe could be made out of a single electron going backward and forward through time - the "One Electron Theory".
It makes logical sense because all electrons are the same and you can never know both the position and the momentum of an electron at the same time. Their mass is negligible making them very incorporeal. Could the whole world be but one electron?
MetaversalSouljah 2 years ago
The "Surely You're Joking" part of his autobiography's title should be kept in mind with Feynman. He is, in part, playing his own sort of Hume with his particular niche of thinkers.
My hunch is that the paradox of time travel will turn out to be that time must be anihilated before passage is possible, & what anihilates time anihilates all matter, even electrons.
Then again, there's stuff smaller than electrons . . .
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
There ARE many particles that are smaller than electrons but I believe that we created them with out own observation. SInce like you said earlier, reality is unquantifiable, the deeper you get into the mystery, the more fundamental particles and constituents you will end up finding. It goes on ad infinitum.
MetaversalSouljah 2 years ago
Particles do go on ad infinitum. When I did "Lucifer on LaVey" the drift was that LaVeyan materialism has no end of little cracks that I, for one, find very liberating.
My philosophy has no need of a matter-is-the-end-all for it to be complete.
I requires the open question that is the universe as it presently stands in current studies.
The mystery itself is the stimulus.
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
I won't come down too hard on the negative comment below from Jerpatlaclel. I can remember feeling much the same way about Mr. G.
G can be infuriating.
It wasn't until I got some firm background in Qabala that I was finally in critical awe of him.
I really can't understand why anyone would care about him without that as their foundation.
As for ridiculing him, this is often the first stage of his closing in on you.
There's resistance.
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
Thanks for not coming down on me too hard JamesNealFox but, trust me, he's not closing in on me. How could someone who has been dead for sixty years close in on anyone? Even while he was alive no one became enlightened through him, not even Ouspensky. There are so many living beacons pointing to the same truth, why not try a fresher teacher who speaks simply and doesn't underestimate your intelligence, Paul Lowe and Eckhart Tolle come to mind.
JERPATLACLEL 2 years ago
I think it's you underestimating my intelligence. The video itself acknowledges that there are simpler ways of going about certain things.
I don't have any problem with people pursuing those simpler ways.
On the one hand you say G is a stupid twat. On the other, you imply that he's underestimating people like me, which suggests manipultion and cleverness.
Finally you refuse to take what I said about "closing in" figuratively.
You're reacting.
G threatens you.
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
Not in the least, really.
JERPATLACLEL 2 years ago
One can't help thinking Gurdjieff was a bit too convinced of his own cleverness. His deliberately awkward prose would justify the effort it takes to plow through them if he had something really profound to say but frankly he comes across as an inflated schmuck full of his own self importance or, as the esteemed Mulla Nasrudin would say, "a bit of a twat".
JERPATLACLEL 2 years ago
BTW check out The Magic Language of the Fourth Way by Pierre Bonnasse. He extensively expounds on Gurdjieff and his teachings/methods. It's a comparable read to Beelzebub's Tale to his Grandson.
MetaversalSouljah 2 years ago
Well, what can I say? My first impression of your comment was to casually deconstruct it, but this is YouTube and the likelihood that it was someone cool having fun was against the odds.
I'll check out Bonnasse.
Oh, to your question: The esotericism of your comment is that it points to itself as an empty set.
JamesNealFox 2 years ago
Calm down man, I'm a seeker as well and I view manifest reality as nothing more than my own reflection, therefore I would never be malicious in any of my intents. I feel that the ultimate nature of reality and this experiential plane is paradoxical in nature as all truths are; reality is exceedingly complex but at the same time very simplistic.
I truly feel that in the end the experiencer must see the joke hidden in the myriad tribulations. I like seeking out the humor in all of this mayhem.
MetaversalSouljah 2 years ago
I won't reply to the rhetorical question below: "Can you decipher the esotericism of my comment?"--but I will comment on it for people visiting this page and looking it over.
The comment appears sarcastic, but to say it is sarcastic runs the risk of getting another paradoxical question implying that sarcasm was not necessarily the intent, which would await yet another reply to undermine and so on.
The real question is do I care what the person's meaning is?
The answer is I do not.
