Why did you not use a leader? Now theres a pike swimming around with a lure stuck in his mouth and will probably die from a hooked shut mouth.
Be a sportsman and make sure you dont make a habit of this, its wasteful. Use a leader next time! If you dont understand this, please give up the sport.
A few things to say after reading some of these comments.
1) Steel leaders are pretty important when fishing for Pike. You can use other leaders, but steel is the best.
2) All hooks nowadays are made to rust and deteriorate. That hook will be in its mouth for short bit, but will eventually fall out. It's not uncommon to catch pike with lures in its mouth, anyways. He'll still eat. Pike have what we call "eating disorders". They eat eat eat eat eat.
Come on people, the hook will fall out quickly! I've caught pike that had thick spikes from European Bass in their mouths and they didn't seem les hungry about it, they are evolved to get over hard types of food. the hook falls out and the lure stays on the ground. I would be more afraid of an eal hurting it self by the hook laying in the bodom than the pike having problems.
how could you break a lure like that? Thats kinda stupid and ridiculous, I honestly never have that problem with my set up of 80lb invisi-braid and just tie a strong double mono knot and put a swivel like 4 feet up the line but don't use metal lts those are ridiculous, and don't pike fish like this because that's bad, that fish will probably die or just have a bad few monthes, I honestly dont believe for a second that it will rust away numbnuts
If you're clever enough to make sub-aqua videos how come you're too dumb to attach your lure properly? That poor fish now has a treble hook stuck in its maw. I would suggest you give up angling and stick to photography.

For pike fishing: -use a steel leader, 20 lbs test
-tie your knots properly (with mono, use an improved clinch knot or a Palomar knot)
-line weight isn't a big deal, I regularly catch 20+ lb pike on 4 pound mono
-LOOSE DRAG
Or you can disregard all this and go play with bluegills on your little Barbie rod.
